I felt the need to pop into a Sera thread outside of this one. Never again.

Back in the safe zone.

Theres another Sera Thread? Tell me, what is it like?

Sera: It's too complicated. Lots of things that can break.
Varric: She's a very particular lady but the rewards more than outweigh the effort.
Sera: She's just a thing.
Varric: Someone's jealous.
Sera: Someone's an arse. You, you're an arse.
Still kinda sad that Sera and Varric never hit it off like I hoped they would.

I'm kind of glad they didn't hit it off. I like the companions not always getting along with one another. Makes it feel like they are there for their personal reasons as well as the "save the world" reason.

You get those who like her and those who don't on one thread, so the usual.
I'm more annoyed at myself for resorting to mockery than anything, thus I decided to leave it.

Oh I like it too but Varric has always been a favourite of mine and Sera is one too (not that I have a Rogue bias or anything
Besides they still have some good banters.

Varric... I kind of hope he doesn't make it into the next game. Appear, yes, but as a companion, no thanks. I like him well enough but he's just taking up room for other possible companions. This isn't Varric Age. ![]()
I think I might start up another play through in the next couple of days. Gonna have to start all over because I've lost the immersion of my current elf. Gonna role a Qunari or a Dwarf and romance Sera. I have to do that romance before I die!

As much as I love Varric, he's earned his rest.
That said, I should confess: after rolling an Artificer myself and coming to grips with the spec, I've been taking him out more than Sera.
And yes, sing the Seranade at least once, Poodle.

I must make those bells ring!
I started her romance with my elf (just flirting) but then I got bored. Also, I don't really want unhappy Sera/Dalish relationship. I want lots of love and cuddles. ![]()

Yeah she don't like them bags of chicken necks as much, so you're best off doing it the right way: as a Qunari

Chicken necks?
Sera makes a comment about not normally going for an elf (To an elf inquisitor) is because elves feel like a bag of chicken necks or something. can't remember the exact quote.
EDIT: NINJA'D.

It's St Mary's Abbey. It was a very rich and powerful institution that sat just outside York's city walls in a compound with walls of its own. Its former grounds now make a park called The Museum Gardens. Behind me when I took the photo is The Yorkshire Museum, which gives the park its modern name.oh what's that ruin? looks fascinating.

St Mary's Abbey was destroyed, as were many monasteries across Britain, by Henry VIII after his split from the Catholic church. As I understand it, besides the obvious religious motive, what he really wanted was their lands, assets, wealth and power (surprise.)

Sorry if this has already been discussed but Is Sera, Amethyne from DA:O? She mentioned playing in Denerim's alienage with no parents to speak of. How cool would that be if it's true!

We are the last of the Elvhen. Never again shall we submit.
The Shemlen took everything from us. The Dirthavaren, and Arlathan before that.
However even they forgot that many things they take for granted are ours in origin. Tarasyl'an Te'las, for example.

Discussed, quite a lot, in fact. I believe we ended up with not having enough proofs.
Though it remains a possibility.
