When I was at Ephesos over the summer, I spent ages taking pictures of all the inscriptions along the main road so I could go to Baby's First Koine Translation Dictionary and figure out what they were saying.

Then I found a site that listed all of the epigraphical finds at the site and translated them and was like welp. Not that I thought that nobody had done that before - I knew that they had - but to see it all in one accessible location was a little bit of a letdown.

Archaeologists have been doing this for awhile. :P

is that the same as Efes/Ephesus? Or is that a different place?  (the place got called like 3 different things so its always confusing to me)

Yeah. Ephesos is the Greek name (original city foundation). Ephesvs is the Latin name (Rome conquered the city and ruled it for a long time). Efes is the Turkish name (city is currently in Turkey).

That would be why I heard both then. Good to know.

Sorry I should have quoted Dgyre's earlier post, but I was lulled into thinking my post would come soon after, instead of on another page with lots in between. Probably did seem random.

No kidding. I played on 360 and the graphics are just bad. So much clipping too.

Yeah like I say, I'm not sure. I know nothing about what it's truly like to develop for these systems, but I imagine that having to keep track of various things going on off screen at the same time as whatever the player is doing, as they demonstrated at the demo where they had the player decide where to go themself and where to send their forces, with the implication that events were developing in real time, might be a drain on system resources.

It depends what you're keeping track of. Graphics is the big drain on a system, whereas raw mechanics (damage calculations, approval) can be insignificant. So if you have your soliders go to the keep, and they actually walk there in game they could well be adding to the graphics cost of running the level with their character models and animation. In addition they're running pathfinding, AI and possibly triggering combat with things, things with their own art assets that just became active and are now spawning other things with art assets and oh dear you just killed a 360. However if you just despawn them and increase the keep's number of soldiers counter the cost would  be negligible.

Unexpected page flips can be awkward.

It would have been really funny if when Cassandra tried to hit Varric she missed and hit Hawke instead. Can you imagine Cassandra's reaction to punching the man/woman she's grown to admire so much? Ooh, Snarky!Hawke and Varric would never had let hear the end of it. :D

That would be brillant!

Hawke: so varric was right....ya do punch before asking questions !

Cass: I...no....it...

Varric: watch it Hawke! if ya were a book , ya would have had the knife ! just be thankful ya are all flesh !

cass: *Glare at Varric*

My 360 red ringed within the first two weeks. So I can't say enough bad things about the system. lol

In this case I don't think the system is to blame though.

How long have you been sick? If it's been more than a week you should see a doctor. If it's this persistent it could be bronchitis or pneumonia and then you'll need antibiotics. Or see a doctor anyway to get a prescription for Ventolin (asthma stuff) to help clear your lungs so you can sleep at least.

Meh, garlic has some good nutrients, but it's not a miracle cure. Don't bother if you don't care for it.

I've heard people say garlic is good for stuff like that, but I don't know. When I'm coughing a lot, some kind of strong cough medicine or Nyquil is the only thing that really helps me. It can take me a long time to get over colds.

I know someone who always heads toward bronchitis if the coughing goes on too long, so that just makes it worse. She's reluctant to go to doctors...
