Hmm... What are the PC specs most comparable to PS3/X360? We might want to test on those, just how much better it could've been, exactly.
Also, yes, I do trust you. Just curious how much exactly is it... uh, what's-the-word... Well, you know what I mean.
AMD athlon x3 435 2.9ghz, 2gb ram and a ATI hd 4650 would be close to both the 360 and ps4.
For those of you that might not know, on paper both systems seem under powered compared to mid-range gaming pc's that where around during the same time. But, a console uses dedicated hardware, they can squeeze better performance out of lower spec hardware than a pc can. Dedicated hardware is one of the main reasons a 360 and ps3 should be running DA:I with out dialing down down the graphics and cutting out content. Simply because there isn't anything competing for system resources like their is with a pc. But, as I said before due to poor optimization or a complete lack their off, you get stuck with a slap-dashed port. Simply because it's much easier to cut content and dial down graphics than it would be to go back and re-optimize the game for 360 and ps3. My guess is that Bioware and EA thought the market share for DA:I on ps3 and 360 was small enough to not justify re-optimizing the game for the two systems.
