See? My number one rule: Do not trust vegetables that taste and look better when cooked. Never, ever. They're not trustworthy if their best state cannot be reached in their natural state.

Actually I love pretty much all veggies except tomatoes. Which are a fruit anyways, so we're clear.

I like root vegetables and broccoli and green beans and green leafy things. Zucchini needs a lot of work to be interesting to me

I leave it on the shelf in the grocery store, usually   But then I guess it's not my zucchini.

 

What I do with anything really depends on my mood. Sometimes I'm in the mood for something with cumin, sometimes very garlicky, sometimes a simple stirfry with oyster sauce or something. But all these pictures of baked vegetables remind me I haven't done that in a while and it's good.

I go for creamy sauces because generally I hate tomato based sauces. 

 

I do make an amazing stirfry sauce though.
