I have no intention of ever living in a human city. So unless Halamshiral does become fully elven and independent, the odds that I'll ever settle down in one are remote. Which would lead to her being perpetually out of her element if she continued to travel with me. Which doesn't strike me as necessarily healthy.

You're assuming she wants to "settle down" at all.

The alternative would by necessity mean a lot of nature walks.

Not Merrill. And Isabela lived more on her ship when possible. Anders seemed fine with being a wilderness-dwelling fugitive... and so on.

Ah, yes. Perhaps I'll give a diplomatic response to that once you stop abandoning your mage children to the Chantry and literally pissing on your cultural heritage.

I did meant Merrill with the only F/F LI. Though I misunderstood your post: I thought you meant 'human civilization' as being raised in one. My apologies.

Her cultural heritage is that of the alienage. I wasn't aware I should try to take up the customs of my hypothetical Roman ancestors.

Err, no. I like cities more than the countryside, yet I am wary of the very notion of "settling down".

I was referring to the venadahl, which the city elves still keep. And wouldn't have started that anyway had the conversation not begun with "**** the Dalish pixies."

Actually, not the only one  (though due to my character's gender I won't romance Sera in my first playthrough)
Though I think it's better to avoid a 'who's better? dalish or CE?' Debate.

Elf union is the only way, Dalish and City elf culture can influence each other in the glorious Elven nation of the Dales.

She might have been raised a city elf, but she is still anti-authority. I figured that would appeal to many people, like myself.

And moi.....

Is Sera Fereldan or Orlesian or have it not been mentioned. I'm assuming Fereldan by her voice but she finds us in Orlais yes?

I was wrong about her having a Lancs accent then. I guess I was right about her being northern at least. But yay for finding out her actress!

Sorry but I guess you were wrong twice. She's not northern. She's a midlander. As from the Midlands! One day you'll get it right :)

The more I learn about Sera the more I feel I'll enjoy her as a character, but not so much as a romance.

So slow walks in the woods are a no, then.

Looks like I'll have to cancel my first date plan.

Sounds like picnics under flowering trees won't work, either.

EDIT: Actually, I can only imagine how that conversation would go.

"Ugh, nature! Smells so weird... Ew! It's on me, get it off!" brushes a blossom off herself.

"Ugh, Sera? We're in the alienage. We're just having lunch under the venadahl."

"Is that what it's called? I thought it was 'unchopped firewood.'"

"Aaaand we're done here."

Because she seems hilarious, like the kind of person you want to party with, but not necessarily the kind of person I'd want to date. Just my preference, I hope I'm wrong because the idea of romancing an adviser doesn't interest me compared to a companion (Sorry Scribbles.)

If you're gonna give her a nickname then make it: Joshi.

Maker no! Memories of my youth I liek to forget would surface ;_;

You mean the dalish culture, not all elves.

She has a bit of a serious side. A rarely tapped into serious side. We haven't seen much of it yet but I'm sure it's add another layer to her character we either find favorable or unfavorable depending on each person. Don't throw in the romance towel just yet and enjoy the laughs as they come.
