Darn it, I missed the deep Sera conversations D=. *grumbles* this is what I get for being away so long again... (finished my first playthrough of ME2)
i can see it both ways. on the one hand, by lying to her, you are setting a precedent in the relationship for dishonesty. that's...problematic. not only that, if you are hardcore Dalish, you lie to yourself for that moment which can feel like a betrayal to everything you believe...provided a pro Dalish lies to her.
on the other hand, in recognizing the fragility of your partner's mental state, you choose the lie because you don't want to see her completely broken.
so the question becomes just how selfish you are? and who are you willing to be selfish for? in the answer, lies the true conflict.
it's definitely a morally grey ground. it's all what the character is feeling and what they feel would be the bigger problem, their belief or their lover's security. (still sad that Sera doesn't really think of her lover's security, but we already know she has an issue with things like that) .... annnnd everyone's asleep now, my sleeping schedule got shot again.
hi everyone, nice to see you back Veeia
