Wow, there is some deep Sera talk going on and I missed it. You guys suck lol, couldn't wait for me to get back on BSN before you got all deep and philosophical. I see how it is. Just you wait, I will have my vengeance! ;)

we have our moments

But ya dont lie about something..like ya belief...sooner or later it will come out..there is no way around that . And I speak from personal experience...I had to break up friendship often because of beliefs....

thats true it will come out in the open and incident like that can happen

i can see it both ways. on the one hand, by lying to her, you are setting a precedent in the relationship for dishonesty. that's...problematic. not only that, if you are hardcore Dalish, you lie to yourself for that moment which can feel like a betrayal to everything you believe...provided a pro Dalish lies to her.

on the other hand, in recognizing the fragility of your partner's mental state, you choose the lie because you don't want to see her completely broken.

so the question becomes just how selfish you are? and who are you willing to be selfish for? in the answer, lies the true conflict.

Admittedly, I feel like it's not quite as bad as it could be, because the odds that Sera is dumb enough to actually believe it are low. It seems like she doesn't actually want you to change your religion, per se, so much as she wants you to say that your religion won't be more important than her, albeit phrased very poorly.

When you flirt a little with Scout Hardin, this actually increases your Sera approval slightly. Odd.

Darn it, I missed the deep Sera conversations D=. *grumbles* this is what I get for being away so long again... (finished my first playthrough of ME2)

it's definitely a morally grey ground. it's all what the character is feeling and what they feel would be the bigger problem, their belief or their lover's security. (still sad that Sera doesn't really think of her lover's security, but we already know she has an issue with things like that) .... annnnd everyone's asleep now, my sleeping schedule got shot again.

hi everyone, nice to see you back Veeia  ^_^

no one in ME2, staying faithful to Liara.  :) .... had to avoid talking to Jacob, every time i wanted to be friendly my character acted like she wanted be be really friendly, and like nah, I just like being friends... then Jack got cold because I tried being friendly with her apparently she thought i was being too friendly...

ME2 seems to assume that you only talk to people with the hope of having them then and there on a workbench.

I love Jack too, feels a little like I got bi-baited, but I knew about that before I went inmy characters tend to befriend everyone, even with the characters i make with the intention of not befriending everyone... i just can never bring myself to be actively mean..

Me neither. In DAO I tried to make an 'evil Warden' run once. It went well until I reached Lothering. Darn you, Leliana! Stop judging me!

For RP reasons I always have my Warden turn down Leliana's first request to join because she's all moody and grumpy at that point, only to accept her the second time, and it's probably the most painful thing I ever do in the game. She seems so heartbroken when you do. Bleh. :C

i never actively played an evil warden... I played a warden who was angry and aggressive who, surprisingly mellowed out (Tabris man) and I played a warden who was blunt (well half-played, got to lothering and... well ostagar is hard to get through after a while) - was an Amell mage man who didnt actually like Jowan, was a funny guy though, played it that he was being blunt but said the things with a smile so people assume hes joking...
