Shame about the lack of Crimson, so I can't ask her about the whole "elfy" romance business.

To be honest, something that hurt me almost more than the whole temple argument is the fact that she crosses off the item on her list about reading something elfy.

but protip: +attack is statistically superior to mainstat increases, so if you have an alternative grip with offense slots I'd recommend using that one!

I don't think so. She doesn't cross off the ones for the other races. Crossed out means failure on Sera's list. That said, I liked that she even considered it, given the depth and strongly held nature of her anti-elfy-elf sentiment. It gave me the sense that she cared even if she couldn't go through with it... I've always been a glass half full person though.

But why can't we at least talk about it? That struck me as being genuinely painful. She kind of cares, but I'm not positive that it's enough.

 

Then again, it does help that she doesn't automatically break up with you if you drank from the Well of Sorrows. And in that situation, I think there's no way in hell that she would actually believe a Dalish Inquisitor who said that, whoops, they don't actually believe in the Creators after all; she just badly wants reassurance that the Inquisitor won't abandon her for the past.

Sadly not as this is very early in Solvi's game. Haven't left the Hinterlands yet other than going to Val Royeaux which is where I bought the schematic. Haven't got any bow grip schematics from random drops as yet.

its difficult to know for sure, this is Sera we are trying to interpret here..who knows..

Yes but she doesn't care too much about the chant, if you listen to her banters, especially with Bull. She's Andrastean but not deeply so, and certainly not dogmatically so. I think that the root of her anti-Dalish sentiment lies more in their isolationism and wish to portray themselves as separate than in their religion.

The religion I think is a symptom of their difference to her, not her main reason for disliking them. It's not the fact that a Dalish elf insists on their religion being true, but what she thinks that implies about the Inquisitor's level of elfiness, and therefore inevitable future attempts to persuade her to be more elfy. I think that telling her it's all rubbish, even if deep down she knows that you're lying, at least reassures her that you're not going to push your views on her.

Why do you think the Inquisitor can't try to explain that the question isn't about her, and that Sera's just inventing problems where there were none before?
