Tsk, tsk. That's the thing around here, man.

If I get bitten by a snake tomorrow, I won't blame the snake for biting me or myself for moving to this country, I'll blame you...or Canada. :P

I can take a joke, like yours or Stormheart83's but JohnWayne's is just being a giant middle finger to me, for no reason. If it was a joke, leave an emote. Would save me the trouble of thinking one is an *******.

I don't believe I've ever seen him use an emoticon, so I'm guessing he's joking.

Not arguing with you BTW, just speculating. I do see your point.

Do I purchase Dying Light?

Edit: Actually, I'll wait until I go into town to pre-order it. Apparently, I can buy it now for £55 on Playstation Store or Pre-order it at my local game store and get it with loads of bonus' and free DLC for £45. Only problem there is I have to wait 'til the 27th to actually get it (if what the website is telling me is true).

Retails are coming out on the 27th, but digital (at least on PC) has been out for ages by now. Weird stuff.

Why do you think the Inquisitor can't try to explain that the question isn't about her, and that Sera's just inventing problems where there were none before?

A line like that is certainly what I thought was missing from that scene, even though I don't think that she would have accepted it. Inquisitor should've been able to make the effort at least.

You have to factor her upbringing in as well. When you talk to Sera and listen to her banter with Solas, you get the scene that a lot of her anti-Dalish and anti-elfy views come from a very human perspective. My guess is that growing up she did her level best to act human in a effort to gain acceptance and out of self preservation as well. Because if she act to efly, she probably risked being separated from human parents and being tossed into a Alienage. Her adapting a more human personality could allow her to fly under the radar. Also, sometimes I think that Sera more or less sees herself as a human and not an elf based on her dialog. Her "You, know, people-people" comment when you first bring up her being an elf and other dialog really suggests this.

Oh, the reason behind why she doesn't like Dalish separatism has that at its root, I think. I've talked about it before and was on my way to bed so I didn't repeat myself. She wants everyone to be treated the same, from elves to peasants to nobles, because she wants a society where people like her aren't pigeonholed by birth into certain roles. Her childhood experiences must be key to her forming that opinion. The Dalish setting elves up as separate and different undermines that world view so she resents them.

Yeah, I was just checking. I think it's kind of ridiculous for me to buy it now when I could get this in 11days.

For a fair bit less. Also, I'm getting The Order: 1886 so I don't want to spend to much on just 2 games.

Point. It's easy to forget console games cost a bit extra... well, around here, at least.

Me, I'm only waiting for DA:I DLCs, and when X-COM comes on sale on Steam.

It's still a possibility that I might get GTA V when it (finally, ffs) comes out for the PC, but that very much depends on my financial situation.

Argh, I want the Order:1886 but it's not for PC. And I don't have the money to buy a console, especially not a play station, blech. :(

Hah, I remember playing ME3 through the entire night the first time... I just fell right in so damn hard.

Then, at 7AM, I managed to pick wrong and murder off the Quarian Fleet. And make Tali kill herself.

I never nope'd out of a choice so hard. Actually, I don't think I nope'd out of any choice before (or after) that...

Yeah. If you're there, you're in the home stretch... :)

Yeah. I just hope she finished everything in the Galaxy she wanted to.

There's a straight jump into ME2... of sorts.

No post-completion gameplay. You just get the Normandy flying near a planet, in a scene eerily reminiscent of ME2's beginning scene...

So for all intents and purposes, there is zero time jump in-universe between the two games.

Well, the first one, and second one's prologue, anyway. Not gonna spoiler stuff.

I played until the small hours of the morning once to complete the original Metal Gear Solid. It was before the European release* and my brother-in-law had brought his chipped Playstation around with the US version. I knew I had that night to complete it, because he'd be taking his console with him next day. I finished at 4 or 5 am, which would've been OK, except that in the morning I had to go to work in a computer games shop on the first day that we were open after Christmas. Working the busiest day of the year, dealing with an endless stream of exchanges and complaints on about two hours' sleep is not fun.

*Yes it was pirated but I actually bought the special edition when it came out in the UK, with soundtrack and other and stuff, so Sony/Konami lost no money from me.

Well she was in the carta... She has to be a bit badass, but she is kind underneath.

I invented a backstory for her - her dad was a Cadash who escaped from the carta and set up as a legitimate businessman, but her family were unlucky to get in the way of an apostate who was on the run from the Templars, and died. She thinks that Templars saved her life, but she ended up an orphan and had to go back to her extended family in the carta. For these reasons she's resentful about her carta life, especially as she is wary of  mages so lyrium smuggling isn't the best job for her. She's going to ally with the Templars, which isn't something I'd normally do, but she's going to share that fear of magic and sense of street smarts with Sera, so I think they'll get along.

I agree. Both sides screwed up big style, and that's kind of what I did in my other two playthroughs. I conscripted the mages in one and absorbed the Templars into the Inquisition in the other. I want to see all the different stories, though.

Well I'm much slower than everyone else! There are people with four, five, six playthroughs and I have only actually finished one. I left my Cassmancing rogue at a place where he'd started that romance, cleared Crestwood and most of Emerald Graves but not done much story past Skyhold. I'll do the same with Solvi and Sera, and I plan to start another character who is a full-on "Mage Freedom!" mage who will of course ally with them, and probably romance Josie. I want to leave them all in a place where I can take them through whatever DLC comes out if it's the sort that gets inserted into the middle of the game.
