It's also worth saying that none of the PC patches have done anything to break the game for me, as they did for you and Dazzle, so for me it's not as frustrating to play as it is for you.

Ouch! Thats what you get for living in Canada I guess! ![]()
Here it rarely gets much below freezing... December, January and February are usually -5 to plus 10. There was a time a few years ago where it stayed below -10 for a week or two, and the front door to our old house didn't lock properly! It was kind of an extra front door to a bit of the house that had been an open porch when it was built, and had no heating. It was a modern plastic door that had those locks that come out in several places and hooks that came round to engage with the door frame, and when it got cold for a long time they stopped working. The hooks had shrunk with the cold and didn't fit into the frame any more! Luckily we still had a key for the old front door inside so we could lock up...

Argh, I want the Order:1886 but it's not for PC. And I don't have the money to buy a console, especially not a play station, blech.
It's not out on PC? I knew it wasn't on Xbox but I thought maybe PC. Sorry, Dazzle. ![]()
Yeah. I just hope she finished everything in the Galaxy she wanted to.
There's a straight jump into ME2... of sorts.
No post-completion gameplay. You just get the Normandy flying near a planet, in a scene eerily reminiscent of ME2's beginning scene...
So for all intents and purposes, there is zero time jump in-universe between the two games.
Well, the first one, and second one's prologue, anyway. Not gonna spoiler stuff.
I never made that connection before but now that I think about it, it kind off makes sense. I always thought though that it was some kind of Star Trek thing, the Normandy setting out to explore the galaxy thing.
Mooooooooooooorning!
Hey Hey Weetley! whats with tha attitude ? sheesh....
@EDI: dont forget to blamee tha canadian for Bieber too !
(I'm not canadian YAY!)
@To everyone: Dont talk Politic....that never go well..anywhere........down the drain ! *flush flush flush*
*cough cough * here..have some morning germes !
I don't have an attitude. It just sounded like he had an attitude with me. I'd rather clear that up.

I was just looking to see if t was coming to PC and I stumbled across an article. It says that a YouTuber has uploaded the entire game - gameplay and cinematics - and that it equals around 5 hours... *sigh* I'm still going to get it but if it is 5 hours long, I'm going to be deeply disappointed.
Edit: I believe I have only ever played one game that was less than 10 hours long. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Fun game, very enjoyable but was totally worthless the next day.

We're sharing weather today. We've got a cold front that moved down from Quebec. It was -17 celsius this morning with a wind chill of a further 20 below. For fahrenheit fans that means it was 1 degree with a windchill of minus 20. I am officially so over this winter already!
I'd have rather have stayed in and played ME or DA:I.
*Dazzle-I am at the part where I just picked up Liara. Crazy non-intuitive controls. You get to that part where you have to rescue her in the refinery and I cannot get out of the vehicle to open the gate. Check the controls settings and there is nothing about exiting the vehicle! I had to log off and go online to find out it's "q." It could kill them to put that info in the game?? ![]()

Yeah. Also, I looked at the two endings. Angles are off, planet colors are off, and to add insult to injury, Pressly mentions "four days up and down this sector", before Joker says that "************ in the last month" (obviously, asterisks aren't me being rude, that's spoilers removed for Dazzle)
Turns out I ain't rememberin' stuff right!

Yeah. A month, at the very least.
ME2 Prologue is still 2183, though, as there is a two-year gap because reasons

Hey, maybe they were in the same system. Who knows?
Well, there is a red planet that roughly fits the description in the background during the ME2 scene...
But who knows. Nobody ever told us the name of the cluster where we last see the Normandy in ME1, and I doubt they even thought about it.
I'm pretty sure that for the devs, it was just a random cluster, and a nameless planet, because they needed one in the scene.
In that sense, it can be literally any red planet ever. Even Tuchanka, if you're feeling Krogan-ey. Or Mars...
And since the Normandy only patrolled the sector for four days, but things were up around there for a month, it's hard to tell if it even could be in the same cluster, nevermind a system.

I think you're supposed to get the impression that Shepard's team have settled down into something approaching a normal routine in the intervening time between ME1 and ME2, but it's not very long. As I say, a few months at most.

BioWare normally keeps it pretty vague as far as time goes. See the gap between Origins and DA2 Act 1 which the whole of Awakening is supposed to fit into.
But who knows. Nobody ever told us the name of the cluster where we last see the Normandy in ME1, and I doubt they even thought about it.

It's totally the planet the Normandy crash lands on in ME3.

I agree. Also, a lot of the team is gone from the ship.
Liara is definitely there (one of the Prologue possibilities)
Ashley/Kaidan (Virmire Survivor - can spoil that, Dazzle's on Ilos - also one of the Prologue possibilities)
Wrex doesn't know about the first Normandy's fate - couldn't have been there
Garrus was probably back with C-SEC (I don't think he mentions anything direct about the final fate of the Normandy, just "I thought YOU...")
Tali, she was there only to achieve something great on her Pilgrimage - it makes probably the most sense she'd be the first to leave after defeating The Big Bad.
