well my mom 'Story' is that our direct ancestor were Pirates . for any kid.....thats like 'really ? Thats aweeeeeeeesooooooooome '...well until ya grow and find the pirates are like that guy that was chasing Bela..and it isnt so cool after all lol 
 
But...it still beat my father 'Story' and he is Prouuuuuuuud to tell it..and I still dont know why...because he isnt an idiot . I mean he is a very succeful busnessman if sociopathic and have no calm about robbing his own mother blind if he can help it . 
 
Anyway , His Story.....was that our ancestor from HIS Side...was a Giant Guy who was Illetrate . My grand Ma was an illetrate..but she was far from stupid and is actually the wisest person in the whole goddamn family...
 
So this Ancestor of his , was a Giant Illetrate who would steal Cows ! carrying one under each of his arm pit . So one day the villagers caugh him..and sent him in fron of a Judge....who asked him if it was true He was the Thief who keep stealing the cows . 
 
So my ancestor , who had a running nose.....slurp that up his nose in a manner so disgusting and with a noise so loud..the Judge has a heart attack . 
 
The end . 
 
And this is the part where my father crack up like mad..for days...and is Prouuuuuuuud to tell us about again and again *facepalm*...

3 things happen to me depending on drink

Rum+ chain smoking= aggro- monkey that passes out after "shush" is said

Bourban= gentleman that talks incoherently about "real" stuff but passes out in toilet

tequila: party party party gets "the hangover" effect have to trace my night over

I'd love to visit Germany some day and learn about their food. I understand that they make great bread, and obviously I know that they are famous for sausages, but I am sure that there is much more to discover...

 

I've been over there a few times. Food is great although I recall thinking it is not a cuisine that favors the vegetarian. The bread was wonderful especially the black bread.  Around where I live there is a sizable Hungarian immigrant population and their cuisine shows it's Austrian influences so it's not uncommon to find Sauerbraten on the menu next to the Paprikash. I am due to take my half-Hungarian girlfriend out for a meal at some point and we're going to hit one of these places and I am very much looking forward to it! It's the cold that's kept us indoors for a week or two now (It's got to break sometime).

I like to savor my liquor. Enjoy it. Nurse it. Get a sense of it's smells and tastes. A good whiskey or scotch (beer, wine what have you) should never be rushed. It's less about getting drunk at my age and more about enjoying the experience. You don't want to waste a good scotch by slamming it down your gullet too quickly. Take your time.

It really depends. I like dark and strong beer so a black as tar stout or a deep brown ale are the only things I like. I can't stand a beer thats lite enough I can see through it. lol

I can certainly appreciate a good stout or porter, but I like paler beers too. I just don't like tasteless weak lagers...

Lagers are probably my least favorites. I can dig a good pale beer in the summer like a Hoegaarden with a bit or lime or maybe a Lambic added to it ("dirty hoe").

same. i mean idk anything about beer but my favorites are generally russian imperial stouts, bonus if they're smoked

I like the smell of pipe smoke, but alcohol and caffeine are enough drugs for me.

or rather, fortunately, because i enjoy indulging in vices and its probably best i have a few cut off from me

 

when i was in college they sold these specialty cigarettes that were lavender/earl grey flavored and i looooved those. it's now illegal to do so, which i appreciate because again, not the best idea to do so thanks for not enabling my impulse control problems, but. dang. they were fab.
