well there are ...but the stats is Low.....the highest is 136 armor....and its the goddamn Long coat

well there are ...but the stats is Low.....the highest is 136 armor....and its the goddamn Long coat 

 

You might have to get past Haven to unlock the better gear. The good gear schematics are dropped by dragons and sold by the merchant in the hissing wastes (canyon). You'll have to get to Skyhold and do those things to get better stuff. There is gear I had last time that was way higher than 136 (try nearly 300 or just over) and the highest gear does tend to look way more swanky.

If it's only a few stat points, I'd personally go with the lower gear that looks better and drop a difficulty level until you can find something you like,

well....Qunari dont have much choices when it come to Armors....ask Grand Pa he can confirm it . On my 1st playtrough...I kept getting drop for Mages elf...and Solas end up getting it all..wich made me Mad...wish I had another elfish to wear them but him . And nothing..for a Mage Qunari....
