Even if you don't romance bull you get that drinking cutscene if you kill a dragon with him in the party.

I literally one-shotted the Crestwood dragon with Sera's Thousand Cuts and nothing else. I think I was about level 18 at the time.

Oh yeah I did get that. I remember laughing cause Bull went down in seconds during the fight and was out cold the entire time. I remember thinking "I should be drinking with Cassandra as she lasted the entire brawl!! ![]()

So apparently at Level 21 on hard Sera can one-shot the Crestwood Dragon with Thousand Cuts. "Big heroes, us" indeed...
I tell a lie. I was Level 21.

He doesn't need to be in the party, I've gotten the scene when he had nothing to do with killing the dragon. Makes me laugh.

The tricky thing with the dragons is their resistances vary. I don't recall the one in Crestwood but it may be it's resistant to fire and you brought your mage who specializes in fire spells. It could also be the weapons and armor you have need buffing and I cannot stress this enough: Your warriors need that "regeneration potion." That gives your party so much more solidity. Just pause every now and then and have your tanks take a regen potion rather than a health one and you spare health potions and keep them in the fight longer.

I murdered the Gamordan Stormrider today, with just two Thousand Cuts, boosted by a fully upgraded Mighty Offense Tonic (it's why I was looking for Amrita Vein earlier today)...
Sera kicks some real butt.
I was lvl18, with Cass, THE WALL and my girl being lvl17.

Upgrade and take the resistance potion for whatever damage that dragon deals. Also, give Sera "Mighty Offence Tonic." as Serza mentions.

I think I'm the only one who never bothered upgrading any potions or tonic. Too much bloody work. I mean, I barely put effort into my armour and weapons, let alone tinkering with potions!

Yeah. I swear, with a 100DPS bow, she pulled off countless 5k hits during Thousand Cuts, and finished with a 12k (Yes, twelve grand) crit.
Imagine if I had Longbow of the Griffon (that essentially hits three times, even if I don't know if that applies for Thousand Cuts - well, it should have huge DPS on a single shot basis, too) and Hidden Blades armor... Friggin' awesome, that.

Having a tank pop an rock armor tonic. Some of the dragons physical attacks hit like a truck if you are a a couple levels below the dragon you are trying to take down.

Actually, Alexia, I've never seen that Red Jenny Cache myself! I was thinking that it was this one, but it's different! I guess there are at least three in crestwood, then.
