Blech Game of Thrones, never was able to get into it. Although I bawled for like 10 minutes straight when the puppy Lady (wolf, whatever:p) was killed in place of Aria's wolf.

I kept saying something like "It's not fair, Lady didn't do anything!"

Nothing is fair in Game of Thrones.

I'm not hungover. I haven't touched booze since Christmas, actually. It's a monthly thing. Ugh.

Argh, the worst. You may want to try something like Midol instead of advil.

Hence why I gave up on it.

Do I look like I care how it's spelled? I stopped watching after that episode. The only good Aria is Aria Montgomery.

Well, uh... no. No I suppose you don't. I guess if that was the reason why you stopped watching, it's probably a good thing. There are a lot of sad moments, with a LOT more to come.

Midol? Never tried it. I'll have to check it out.

I did put a cold compress at the base of my neck. I feel a bit better now.

You get monthly headaches? My brother used to have them but they stopped a couple years back. He just popped migraine tablets and slept the whole day.

It's certainly not for everyone, but then, what is? There's plenty of TV to choose from.

I think she means that it's associated with something which happens more or less monthly...

Cold always helps me more than heat, I find it's soothing.

Midol may be primarily a canadian thing, but it's the ******.

I managed to get nearly everyone in my college class to watch Game of Thrones. Even the ones adamant about not watching it have now fallen into the spiral where they must know everything! Because I have read, nearly, all of the books, they kept asking me questions and it got really annoying.

Midol does help. Or caffeine + any kind of anti inflammation/pain reliever. Hope you get more relief soon.

I'm feeling grumpy because tomorrow I'm gonna be on a plane all day. With a 4 year old. Stocking the IPad up with TV and games and his bag full of toys and treats , but flying that much makes me cranky no matter what, hehe, let alone when I have to deal with a bored, cranky child. And I'm going to see my folks in the Midwest and its gonna be soooo cold. But family! It will be nice for that at least.

Well I know Wintery doesn't like it, either, so that's at least two regulars in this thread...

True that. I'm also biased because I associate it with my ex. I used to watch it for him, even though it drove me up the wall. But he adored it. Was obsessed with all aspects, blech. So I banned it from my household after he broke up with me.

*No I'm not bitter. ..Probably.

Tell him that if he misbehaves on the plane, you will leave him in wherever you are going. Sounds cruel but things like that work like a charm.

I hate George R.R. Martin's writing actually. I couldn't get past the first 10 chapters of the first book. Tossed it aside in favour of the Dresden Files.

Oh kidlets on planes are the worst. Lol. Hopefully it all goes well for you. I may be crazy, but I had an Aqua cassette back in the day and that bloody cassette kept me entertained on a 10 hour flight to germany. So give music a shot!

Oh dear. Long flights are the worst. Especially with a small child. Good luck!

Oh Light... you poor naive dear.

Some women don't get the symptom so the confusion is understandable. My girlfriend never complains of it although she complains of other things. It really seems to vary a bit by individual.
