You can't go wrong with Pillsbury croissants. Making them by hand can be a real pain and they are one of the few foods I hardly ever make from scratch. 

 

Nothing wrong with premade dough, but I think I'd rather go with another company. Pillsbury have a very sweet taste to their breads. Perfect at cut and bake cookies though!

I would suggest not buying an American brand next time. In general American breads tend to be a lot sweeter than those in other countries. 

 

I don't actually know of any canadian brands stocked in our supermarkets, I'll have to check out sobeys next time I go grocery shopping.
