Just had a thought about Sera: in her recruitment mission, one of the things she shouts is 'right in the plums!'

 

We can guess what she is referring to. Am I the only one who thought 'man, that guy is hung'. *runs away*

Well, I joined late. And you and many other people had female avatars( at the time ). So, I mistakenly assumed most of the Sera fan base was female. She is after all a SS romance. As for my Avatar, I almost always play Female characters, I tend to identify with them( yes I know that sounds weird, yes I'm straight ). I honestly thought people knew I was a man. And this has been incredibly awkward. Just wanted to make things clear.

It is a pretty balanced thread, IMO, just the dudes talk more somedays. You know men; always yammering about something.

(I'm female btw, although I don't care if ppl use gender neutral or hulk related pronouns for me)

Nope. If I go somewhere I don't feel comfortable, I don't stay unless I have a really strong reason to do so. That's why I don't tend to post much here outside of this thread.

Yeah, this is my favorite thread. Everyone here is so respectful and gets along with one another.

We've had our difficult moments, but compared to most of BSN, this thread is an oasis of calm and decency.

Don't come on here a lot and mostly lurk cause its fun and you're a difficult lot to follow all the time, but i think I should take a break from all things Sera for a while, I'm starting to talk like her used the words shite and innit serval times this week without even thinking about it a break may be needed for me ^^;

On a peninsula near a (for lack of a better word) redneck town but my grandma is starting to get suspicious she's already convinced that I'm 'living through these strange games' as it is, talking like one of characters won't help that

I don't play as a woman for titillation. I don't even find that "lipstick lesbian" porn that is targeted at males sexy. For some reason I have just found that I am increasingly more comfortable playing as a woman, especially in BioWare games, and as I fancy women, I'm more interested in the lesbian romances. I do find Sera's and Liara's romance scenes sexy but that's because by that point I'm emotionally involved with the characters.

 

I have tried to figure out why I prefer to play as women. I certainly don't feel like I am transgender in my real life. I'm comfortable as a straight cis man. Maybe it's because I just don't identify as any sort of "macho" man, but I think I'm probably just rationalising something that's too complex to get to an easy explanation for...
