Oh yeah, some falls can be crazy bad. I've seen new skaters come out and wreck their shoulders because they don't know how to fall.

I was lucky, partially I know how to fall but I was also lucky. I landed on the right part of my hip otherwise it could have been really bad.

Yeah...well my arm completely twisted around.......I though I broke it..it was hurting so bad....but It wasnt broken....just took forever to get back in place .

I'm pretty similar. I am a straight cis-gender male. However I will rp in games female characters and invent stories for them and I'll play straight and gay or bi characters if able to. I like imagining stories or trying to see things from another persons shoes or perspective. If BioWare makes a transgender option in a future game I'll probably rp a character in that. I don't mean anything as disrespect nor do I do it for titillation. I have zero interest lesbian porn scenes for example in my real life. It's more for a variety in story telling and experience. I do a bit of creative writing in my personal life and so I am always trying to imagine scenarios and different characters. I've also said before I don't play these games to play me per se. It would get dull fast. I am also not terribly macho in real life. I watch a little sports but once had a marriage proposal when a girlfriend discovered I loved Gene Kelly movies. I hate being boxed in one role or "you're a guy so you have to always be this way or look at things this way or react this way." That's a terribly limited way to spend one's life when it's a short one and you really ought to try and experience as much as you are capable of and learn and be open to as much as you can.

That's just my point of view of things for me or what's comfortable for me. It's not for everyone and everyone has different experiences or reasons for things that are as valid as my own or more so. In the end I just try to live as peacefully as I can, not hurt anyone in a deliberate way if I can help it and have as much fun as I can and grown in my own way in the time I have.

Oh yeah. I just don't understand being judgemental of people for being a certain way, as long as they are doing no harm. Sleep with whom you like, wear what you like, play what you like, read what you like, watch what you like, and don't be ashamed of the way you are. That's my attitude to life, at least the one I try to stick to as much as I can. I am human so I don't manage to keep to it as well as I would like all the time, but I do try.

And I'm always interested in other points of view and life experiences, not because I'm voyeuristic, at least I hope not, but because I value and want to understand the diversity of what it means to be human.

Ouach..ya didnt go see a doc ???

Yep, doctor stitched me up and gave me some pain killers. That moment where I could see the sky and my feet at the same time was nuts though. Because it was just long enough for me to think: oh ****, this is going to hurt. lol

Oh I can't help but be judgemental of people who read bad books. Read what you like, just don't tell me you've read Twilight or 50 Shades of Grey and liked them. I'll have an aneurysm and have to start ranting.

well I come from a society where its messed up bad . And getting ride of what ya were taught..is pretty goddamn hard . But I'm doing my best..

If anything....I keep learning..and the only Thing I can say is : Keep the door Open ! thats the only way ya can get ride of old crap and learns new stuff .

But ya are awesome....cose I would know.....cose I saw some Horrible Stuff ! So yeah..peoples like the ones we have here ? a few years back I though they didnt exist...Thats just how bad it was....

I think ours is too (messed up) but things do seem to be changing if very slowly. Younger people are lot more hip than my generation was at least on gender issues or they seem to be. I really only interact in places like this or Tumblr so it's hard to really tell how people are doing. My own friends in RL are pretty open or at least I've tried to pick them to be.

Far to many people end up living their life by standards, viewpoints and ideals that are not their own. To me it's maddening, because when you do so, you are not living your life, you are living someones else's. More people should dare to be themselves.

I just think it promotes harmful practices and is an insult to the people in the bdsm community.

Isn't it basically about control over women? I haven't read it but what I've heard is that it's not exactly fair to women.

Buh... but what of those who enjoy them because of how far removed from reality they are? What of those of us who take hope in the knowledge that if such garbage can get published, we might have a chance at wealth and fame?

Well... 50 shades is a bit of a special case as I've heard from several sources that it dangerously mis-represents the BDSM lifestyle, but if it's just something that's crappily written, I don't care. It's not for me to tell people what to like. I might suggest something that I like better, and let the person see if they can appreciate the other author, but I will not make someone feel bad for enjoying something.

Christian Grey is a predator. He gets involved with this naive, shy young woman and pretty much turns her into his ideal submissive through manipulation and scare tactics, but it's seen as this romantic story because he's a rich, handsome millionaire and she ends up enjoying the sex.

It's just bad all around. Consent is a really big issue in the story.

As lnog as you don't think the story is good or the writing is good... I can give you a pass.
