this is it exactly. i try my best not to align my real world views with the role playing...i really do. but thatt just utterly disgusted me. and then living in the real world where too many people get away with horrific crimes...and that thought process of "he seems to regret his action"...you'd have to be me to understand why that is NOT enough. especially when he benefits from this lie for YEARS. My spidey senses tingled with him when i took him to Valamar on my first playthrough...i mean we're in the deep roads so taking a warden seems wise right? "How many darkspawn are nearby, Blackwall?" "Idk. Hard to say...we should stay alert." The HELL you say? you're a warden and can't tell? you don't make sense! i digress.

(this is also why i have yet to go back in that Morrigan thread and explain myself. I'm still incensed.)

the victims right should come first...not how much regret the killer has.....

There is also an interesting dialogue between BW and Iron Bull...and I think he suspect him.....

Growing up on Westerns, classic war movies and Flim Noir detective drama's enabled me to spot Blackwall as a man hiding something really early on. When ever a supposed hero talks a lot about loyalty, duty, honor and doing the right thing,  they are hiding something. When they try to convince those around them that their organization is better than most people think over and over, they are hiding something for sure. In the movies far to many cowboys, soldiers and detectives catch a bullet in the back because they don't pick up on it. lol

1st: you really passed on the boondocks joke lol

2nd: idk i like her style theres always something "off" about it quite refreshing

I only just remembered that episode now you've reminded me lol.
Kung fu wolf b**** right?

I'm not sure what it is I find wrong with her style tbh.
Considering that she usually has a height advantage, the lack of a good jab is one.

Needing a special Grey Warden sword to kill an Archdemon set off alarm bells for me.

idk he doesnt seem that much diff from the book aside his no asissted suicide deal. I like the entire cast of inquisition tbh for all their faults (some worse than others) i just see alot that appeals to me as a fan of fiction

this was almost too hilarious to not be able to call him out on it. but of course our Inquisitor wouldn't really know if he was lying but that really bothered me lol. "It just has to be a Grey Warden sword." bruh....bruhhhhhhh.

it's hard when bae gets along with him so well too. i've never left him to rot...i had a mind to in every playthrough. but since he glorifies the wardens without truly understanding what they are, i send him to them. it is never an act of kindness on my part. i want him to understand the life he impersonated. Stroud reinforces this in DA2. it is not a life someone should/would choose.

except Vera Cousland. Remember when Zaeed Massani said rage is a helluva anesthetic? Well...she may have took that to heart. Seriously...the ritual should have been afraid of her.

Must be that...

The ones I like..are very few....mostly Sera and cass.....

everyone else just give me a Grrr or a Muh feeling .

As for cole himself...he just didnt feel so.....kid like in the book . While the idea of having a companion that is a Spirit and not some Anders with a Spirit....is cool . He is mostly a real big let down for me....

Because this Spirit thats supposed to be cool...all he does is hide behind ya skirt..and doesnt bring anything to the table beside his confusion , his trauma..and a big sign of 'Babysit me and help me decide if I should be more human or more spirit like'.....

I'd say it's par for course since a strong jab is rare outside of boxing.
It's just that the jab tends to be the punch I focus on most because of it's versatility.

well is a new type of "person" so its more mentorship than parenting imo. I think what he brings to the table is perspective and possiblity... and that what i liked about him

That and like I said earlier. The Joining could kill him and it's a death sentence even if The Joining does not kill him.

A fighter who can master the jab and throw it straight without poping their shoulders could be one of the best fighters ever. You really wouldn't have to put much power behind it. Because, you could take advantage of a flaw in our depth preception if thrown correctly and this hit someone with out their brain being prepared for the impact. More fighters outside of boxing should focus on having a solid jab.

It's definitely the safest means of leading an attack but with kicks to consider, it still carries a large element of risk.

Still, it can serve as anything from a hurting punch to a range finder or means of disguising other attacks which is a roundabout way of saying I agree lol.

And to keep me from dragging this topic on too long, here's some art:

Augh you guys, Kelly really irritates me. I don't need an administrative assistant, stop monitoring my bloody mail. Can I fire her? Or make her cry at least?

No she can't be fired or made to cry. For fear of giving spoilers I shall say no more.
