That's a fruit!? I must taste of this magic!
I prefer it more as a garnish. It's not got much flavour.
Makes a good sorbet though for palate cleansing.

You have to try things at least once. You new favorite food is out there and you might not try it if you refuse to try something new. Remember, at some point some nut job looked at a cow, pig or a pineapple and said: "I bet I could eat that."
I felt the same way about horse at first until I was fed some unknowingly.
It was so good that after I found out what it was, I didn't care.
Exactly. That's how I felt about cauliflower puree. I still don't like the whole vegetable, but as a mash it's lovely.

These are persimmons.
They look like adorable little pumpkins but when you take a bite they crunch like apple, but have a soft sweet centre and big round pods that pop and fill your mouth with juice.

Yeah, cauliflower is the only vegetable I don't like unless it's drowned in cheese or mashed into sweet potato and pumpkin.
That was my mother's way of sneaking vegetables into my childhood diet lol.
Smart lady.
Cauliflower just has a weird taste to it!

I quite like cauliflower. One of the only vegetables I will eat. ![]()
Escargot is delicious. My brother and I ordered them from a Chinese restaurant once on a dare and surprised ourselves by enjoying them.
Oh! And lychees are even better than persimmons, they have a floral note to them.

Oh, speaking of Chinese!
My parents and I used to go to dim sum every weekend when I was younger.

Love, love, love dim sum! Chinese donuts are so outstanding! We have a place nearby that does it but it's so pricey we haven't gone. But I used to go when I lived in Philly and Chinatown had some real cheap places. Tons of good Vietnamese food there too and I was thinking recently I need to make Vietnamese coffee for myself again soon (espresso with condensed milk).

Haven't had one of those in a while now.
Or any of these:
-snip-
There are a lot of pretty fruits growing out there.

I don't recognize those. Some kind of pear?
I have tried snails. The flavour is all in what they're cooked with, and I'm not particularly enamoured of the texture, but they are OK I suppose...
See and I love the texture. That's why they're my favourite appetizer, as long as they aren't overcooked.

I really want to try mangosteen.

Okay. Now it's time to play Wolfenstein: The New Order. Should be good. ![]()
Feijoas. The only time I can ever get them is if I go back to New Zealand in the winter but f*** that, I'm too accustomed to warm weather now lol.
Oh interesting.
Something about their description reminds me of a granadilla.

Oh no, I killed the Sera thread!
