I don't drive, so traffic cops aren't generally a problem for me. Actually I think that the last time I exchanged words with a police officer was when one told me that I shouldn't wear headphones while riding my pushbike. That was towards the end of the last millennium...

I had a soldier show up at our house once when I still lived with my parents. He had my sister's bicycle with him. He told me she had been in an accident and been taken to hospital, but she would be fine. Just a few scrapes, nothing major. He wasn't involved in the accident, he had just witnessed it. The guy went out of his way to return her bike home and let her family know she was going to be alright. A true gentleman if there ever was one.

<Insert witticism about polite Canadians here.>

How lovely. I hope that I would do similar in a similar situation. :)

Uncle, I don't suppose you know anything on the Bristol Pound? I've just been given a live brief to basically the notes.

I'd just be Googling. I mean, I know it's an alternative local currency, but I don't know the details. Not my part of the country.

I haven't a clue what I am supposed to do. Oh this is a great start.

I know this is a cozy little community here but it is a bit irritating to go through several pages without any Sera related post -_-

Maybe create a Sera club in the offtopic section for general discussions?

Yeah, the offtopic can be too much. With you on this.

But you could add something about Sera and we will follow. ;)

If there's something Sera-related that you want to say, please say it. People will respond.

So to cover the last few pages, let's see...

I think my best friends all have tattoos. One was a biker until she had a pretty bad accident. Ink hurts, and I haven't done it in a while.

I haven't spoken with a traffic cop in several years, but I had to do jury duty a few months ago. That was kind of scary.

My friend who's been really frustrated about Sera not moving forward with romance (second playthrough, too) finally got a hat last night. She's very happy about that today. I'm still waiting to hear back where things are now (she's cuddling with a hedgehog and might be far from her phone).

I get that this can get a little irritating not actually being about the game nor the character in question but, and I've said this before, if this thread was purely for talk of Sera, it would die. It would probably have died a while back. The reason for this is that there just isn't that much to talk about anymore. Everything has been found and discussed. Answers have been given and is now pretty much common knowledge amongst the longtime DA fans. By the time new information gets released, either through DLC, a new game or just lore wise given by the BioWare team, this thread would no longer be required. New threads would pop up for those things to be discussed and this thread would fade away.

Here, we are a group of friends or, as some have called, a family. We discuss the problems of things outside the game, we discuss what we're having to eat or where we have been on holiday, but that doesn't mean we don't talk about Sera. We love talking about Sera. To most of us, she is our favourite character. We love her reasons for doing what she does. We love the way she talks, both in general and in banters. Most of us love everything about her but like any discussion, sometimes, talking about the same thing can get tiring and boring.

Why should a group of people who like talking with one another and also enjoy the same character have to go somewhere else to talk to one another?

The title of this thread is Sing the Seranade. That is what we are doing.

That's not a euphemism* :) She rescued a hedgehog from neglectful people who didn't want to take care of her.

* as far as I know

"Got a hat" on the other hand really ought to become some new Sera-based euphemism...

I just heard back and she's done the gift quest so now she's looking forward to relationship banter

I didn't think it was a euphemism but now I do. No, I was curious because wouldn't cuddling a hedgehog kind of hurt, what with them being prickly and everything?

Their prickles kind of curve around. You can see lots of images of people holding hedgehogs here

Sera could totally be saying "You did the gift quest?" here. (And actually...)
