Don't worry, I'm not actually calling people crazy. I'm slightly snippy this morning due to lack of sleep ,so don't take anything I say seriously.

It is an interesting phenomenon though.

I find the underlying science of human perception to be far more interesting that what the actual colour of the dress was. Also as a keen amateur photographer I run up against white balance issues all the time, so this is of interest to me for that reason too.

I had not heard about this (Haven't even seen the bloody llamas) but a quick look and I am satisfied that it is black and blue.

Human eyesight is full of cheap hacks. It's a thing of beauty, well a kind of funny beauty.

Bethesda is based in Rockville, MD (not Bethesda, MD - at least not anymore - which never stops being silly) and can't even get basic details of its own native geography right. Or even right-ish. The Capital Wasteland in FO3 is basically nothing like the real DC area.

Can't you find Bethesda's building in the world as well? Not quite as great as FASA nuking themselves in ShadowRun.

Of course when you get to the actual city it's a linear maze worthy of Call of Duty.

I am brewing a pot of stupidly strong coffee at the moment, I can get you a cup if you want. But, you probably won't sleep much tonight if you drink it. lol

I'm not sure if the whole Horizon documentary from which that is taken is online, but it's worth checking out if it is. One of their better ones.

One of the worst parts of growing up is watching the icons on your youth pass away. Leonard Nimoy was my favorite action from the original Star Trek and really Spock was the character who got me into the show as a kid. Didn't get into other Star Trek series besides the original series.

Well, he made it to 83, so at least we can safely say that he lived long and prospered. Still, I'm pretty sad right now...

He had a long-life and he touched millions of people especially little kids who grew into adults. He'll never be forgotten. Spock was easily my favorite character of the whole original series, and like Wayne, his was the action figure I most wanted to have as a kid. I even got a kick out of his recent appearances on Fringe and Big Bang Theory.

In a way I'm glad he passed. COPD can pretty much destroy your quality of life if it's bad enough. Living sick is no way to live.

No you can't keep someone hanging on for you when they're in pain so I get what you're saying. I hope he went in his sleep.

I never watched the original Serie with him . When it was on Tv I was too young , I only remember my Grand Ma who didnt understand anything due to being Illeterate....still found his ears irresistible  ^_^

But I saw him narrate in the Simpson , and in Star Trek Online he narrate also when you find new corner in the galaxy and tell you lore stuff about say the Klingon . I Loved his voice dearly......

And he is the reason I made a Vulcan . I hope Star Trek make something in his honor...

May he rest in peace
