Never liked the fact that they did. IMO at some point Bioware needs to add a body and height slider.

Sounds like a way to exponentially increase work on the animation end of things.
Sure, it would be. But extras like that are what can make a good game into a great game.

Pretty much. Though you could probably have some variety independent of the skeleton. There's also the thought that different builds could be shared between races.

It's also the difference between having characters touch each other in cut-scenes and not touch each other.

Not really. Animations are not set in stone and several games that have had height sliders also had positioning tracking for cut scenes built into them. This way things would properly line up no matter what the height differences is. We are simply use to seeing them being implemented poorly or not at all.

So the cost is now in the implementation of that tech rather than in not having those cutscenes. Now you have to pay that cost somewhere else. I mean I love tech like that, I think it's the future, I love attention to detail as well, but it's never free.

I'm not expecting some indy developer with a small to implement such things. But, a company with the bank roll and man power of Bioware can do it with out breaking the bank for sure. Also, they have such systems built into the game already. Head tracking during cut scenes is already built into the game and head tracking has been pretty much an industry standard for years now.
Some Sera for you, readying an arrow to the face:
And one of her walking away... idk, I liked the lighting and the shot. I guess it could be useful to people wanting a reference for cosplay?
I've decided Sera is my favourite companion. Cass is up there, no doubt - tbh many of them are - but Sera has completely stolen my heart. She can be annoying and goofy and ridiculous, but she's thoughtful, she cares far too much (which is a good thing), and she's so damned interesting. Her viewpoint and opinions are ones we've never seen in the series before, something I find very refreshing. She's a heck of a lot more complex than most people give her credit for. I haven't romanced Solas yet, nor Cass, but I'm reasonably certain that when all is said and done Sera will end up being my canon romance. Not just because I think she's a great character, but because I really like the implications her romance has for an inquisitor. For the kind of inquisitor I'd want to be canon, anyway.
I like your screen shots. Do you edit them?
Thank you ![]()
Nope, I don't edit them. I use various tools in the game: to render the picture at those aspect ratios (so in this case tall portrait shots) and to use high resolutions (for a cleaner, crisper image) I use SRWE; I use SweetFX for in-game post-processing; and DAI Cinematic Tools for freecam and a few frostbite engine visual hacks. If you're interested in using any of those tools, all the information is in the 'Tips for better screenshots' thread linked in my sig ![]()

Thanks. I'm a console user though so I expect that link is useless to me. ![]()

Sorry something in my throat again.
Hmm, yes, pretty close, I was trying to say...
Sera really is a well written character, one of my all time favorites from the DA series. She was my first Inquisitor's best friend, even when they didn't always agree. Haven't gotten to her yet in my second playthrough but can't wait to romance her!
I have to agree. I think she's a great character... though, to be fair, not always a great person. Y'know, like people can be.

Wait a sec...I woke up today, full of energy, went to the gym and I still have energy to burn. What the hell is going on? This is the first morning where I feel like my normal self in at least a month.
