Chowder?

It's chowdah say it right.
Crimmy!

In other news I've been replaying New Vegas and just finished Dead Money. Got out with all the gold. In your face moral lessons!

Not quite my reaction, but...

Is it weird that some of the old regulars who don't visit as often anymore make me happy when they get back, even for a short while...?
Also, I found this, thought it's accurate.. and somewhat funny:

I never get the gold... too heavy
....
You need to be sneaky to pull it off. You will be over encumbered. No way around it. Here's how to do it.
Sneaks rule the world!
Edit: I suggest doing Old World Blues before Dead Money. That way you can just teleport to the sink and sort your inventory.

I got greedy the first time and ended up getting trapped. Good to know you can ninja your way out with all the gold.
i hate sneaking unless i have a stealth generater... but the prize
It's so worth it from a RP standpoint: trapping Elijah is worth it either way, but after completely emptying the vault? It's even more satisfying if you did it as a good character who spared/helped the companions. Elijah: always ready to dispose of people once they stopped being useful. Ends trapped in an empty vault. The Courier: treats people with kindness and helps them as much as they can. Walks away with a fortune in gold and old world tech. (and enough chems to get high for a year. Needed after that horrible haul.)
I think Sera would like my Courier. She likes ironic punishments. ![]()

I don't even need the gold. It's a matter of principle. The real treasure of the Sierra Madre is those vending machines and chips. Infinite stimpaks and med-x! With the Stealth Suit from Old World Blues, I am an unstoppable killing machine!
I literally beat elijah to death... strap a bomb on my neck and put me on house arrest.... i raged hard XD
Yeah... the only antagonist in the game that I outright murder is Caesar. I take the time to disrupt his operations all over the Mojave so he calls me out on it, then I attack. So satisfying. My latest Courier is a delightful irony too: female, wears the 'Blackjack' duster from Lonesome Road, a Boomer's hat and Doctor Mobius's glasses and will use Joshua Graham's gun to kill him (you can sneak it in). Delicious irony.

So, some idiots in a terrible heavy metal band thought it would be cool to vandalize the grave of Darrell "Dime Bag" Abbott in order to gain some publicity. Prior to doing this they took pictures of themselves pissing on a mural of Dime Bag. Honestly, this is the kind of crap that really pisses me off. It does not matter who a person was during their life, disrespecting the dead is completely unacceptable and it's one of the lowest acts a human being can engage in.

I took the gold because I can be a greedy sob at times. But, you are right about those vending machine chips. I didn't need to get anymore stimpacks and med-x for the rest of the game. All I needed was the Avenger Mini-Gun and the Advanced Enclave Power Armor. Though getting that armor was pure hell.

Ugh, we get people vandalizing graves and monuments pretty often here. Idiots.
I prefer light armors myself. Repairing them is very easy with the jury rigging perk (essential!).

I cheated by grabbing a mod that allows you to repair with tin can's and most junk. So it was not an issue. lol

I'm on console so I can't mod, but I do exploit glitches. (like the double perk glitch. It's like getting a perk every level instead of every other level.)

You have to get it on pc at some point. Mod's for both NV and FO3 are some of the best. Though they can be a bit of a pain to install depending on the mod. I think I have around 200 mods for NV alone. lol

It's explained here.

My PC is 10 years old. It can't handle anything more sophisticated than DOS Box. ![]()
Since I tend to favour lever action rifles (Trail Carbine ftw), I like the reload glitch too.
I favor the Brush gun myself. Although the Cowboy repeater is so pretty.
I love get Pew-Pew for energy weapons. Shame we can't dual wield. I'd go around shooting legionaries with the Mysterious Magnum and Lucky. ![]()

The Trail Carbine, .44 magnum, the ranger armor and a desperado hat was pretty much my setup for my 2nd character.

lol, I wonder if they do smoke elf root in the DA:I universe.
