I can definitely see myself using this team at times but really I want to see all the combinations in the game. I'm interested in seeing how most if not all of the companions interact together. I love the party banter and conversing with all the characters in the game. I tend to play multiple times as I'm addicted to BioWare games.
I'm guessing that I have over thought your comment and you are talking about how the combination works in battle and since I am the person that no one would want on their MP team, not even good friends I shouldn't be replying to your post. ![]()
I should probably stop rambling but it's what I do.

That fan art from the last page is lovely. Looks like Sera on her wedding!

Not outside fanfiction.net anyway.

why not? she and some other people could found a country somewhere, out of sight of the chantry...at least for a little while and have free marriage.

Doing it among the Dalish would be harder and impossible in Orzimarr.

Anne Lister, despite living in XVIII century England, organized private ceremony to marry her wife. Of course it wasn't 'legal', but I don't see any reason why anything like that (or even discussions about it) couldn't take place in Inquisition.
I'm really afraid that the handling of different sexualities will be just like in previous games, so Sera being lesbian will merely mean that she can be romanced by women only, but apart of that, she will act as if she was straight, in sense, member of majority, the "norm", like her lesbianism was nothing that would make her any different from the rest of the people, as if she didn't get the message her whole life that her duty is to marry a man and give birth, and that there is something wrong with her if she likes women (remember, even if there is no institutionalized persecution of gay people in DA universe, even Orlesians, who are the most tolerant when it comes to these issues, consider homosexuality as quirk of character).
Merrill's romance is good example. When you romanced her as male, she had that dialogue about the social issues of her, an elf, living with a human. When you romanced her as female, it was all dumbed down into "oh, you're so pretty, I don't deserve you".
Did that mean that she didn't take relationship with woman as seriously? Or devs were simply afraid to touch actual issues that gay couples face, so they chose to pretend no issues exist?

If she was raised in an Alienage, then she may have gotten that message, but if not, it might never have come up. I'll agree that it should be addressed somehow if she did have a background that'd imply it, but not all backgrounds would (for instance, Circle mages are never expected to marry or have children, so one's sexual orientation would have comparatively little effect on one's character).

In Merrill's case, the issue was her potentially having human children with a male Hawke. If Hawke is female, then children were never going to happen to begin with, and the Dalish seem to choose their own partners anyway, unlike the city elves; there's no sign that gay Dalish would be looked down on for it.

An hedonist would be great. I see Vivienne as more likely to be one than Sera.
Yeah I agree with this, she kinda gives off those vibes. Having close ties to Empress Celene no doubt she has enjoyed alot of what life has to offer already. Will be really surprised if she is not a bisexual option. But if she ain't one I'll just have to deal with it, like with what happened with Cass.

Once bitten, twice shy.
Aye, which is why I'm keeping my hopes low, so very very low. The crushing disappointment will hurt less then if she isn't a bisexual option. That's the plan anyway. ![]()

Well...it's hard to tell just how naked. It's possible she's just topless.
Or is wearing a strapless bra...these are pretty popular in Thedas.

I wonder what it must have been like for Sera growing up, especially if she defied norms by not accepting an arranged marriage with a man, and wanting to be romantically involved with a woman. Maybe it was the first step towards joining the FoRJ, and making her own way in life. It would be nice to get more perspective into what it was like for her, as well as some insight into Alienage culture.

That was my impression, given Cammen's interest in Gheyna, and how he wanted to court her (roughly speaking) in order to win her heart, as well as how Merrill never comments on the Dalish looking down on her for being with another woman; basically, the Dalish don't seem to be the (Western) Brotherhood of Steel.

I admit, I'd enjoy it if things went that way.

Somehow, I imagine Sera subverting the idea of a bridal gown... I just don't quite know how.

For the romanced Inquisitor? I bet.
