No idea. I don't have the game anymore. I traded it in for the complete LA Noire edition.

Wait, did you really trade in Inquisition for LA Noire?

Not sure what I think of such a trade...

what new system ?? come on ! Fill me in ! what did they changeeeeeeeeeee !

Oh, just the new system for changing the colors of your armor, without actually doing so in the crafting.

So you can craft stuff with Dragon materials only, then make it look like it's from Tier 1 materials! Yay!

The focus on graphics in video games is similar to the focus on special effects in movies. Telltale Games has shown that you don't need super fancy graphics to have a great game. Both The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us are fantastic yet have simple graphics.

Those things are usually cyclical. I'm sure the current 'corporate bubble' will burst eventually. It happens in just about every other market.

The graphic style used for the TellTale games is both great and effective. Anyone who says those graphics are bad have clearly been playing to much Call of Duty.

Yep, and that's why it's infuriating when so many games put a massive focus on graphics. Sure the game looks nice, but when the gameplay is bland, the story sucks and the pacing of the entire game is terrible, do graphics really make up for it?

Give me games like Doom and movies that use practical effects any day over most AAA games and movies.

One of my favorite games to this day is Red Dead Redemption. Great gameplay, great characters, good story, lots of stuff to do. A great sandbox all around.

LA Noire was on sale! Besides, I regularly exchange games if I can get a good deal. I might get DAI again some day once all the DLC is out and most of the problems are fixed. For now, I'm not interested.

I was tempted to trade in DA:I but no, I'm sticking to my guns nows. The amount of money that I have wasted on trading in games is astronomical. I plan on holding onto everyone of my games now, even if I hate them. Also, LA Noire is a damn good game. No replay value. But damn good nonetheless.

Just don't finish the story. Johns son is so boring.

I finished the game many times. I happen to like Jack. He looks much better than his dad in that Gentleman's Attire. That ponytail!

I usually stick to story missions with John (he is in a hurry after all) and do all the side stuff with Jack. It makes him more interesting. He has lines for all the stranger missions except one (I Know You).

Really? Everyone else I have asked find him incredibly dull. I prefer the gruffness of John.

Bah. LA Noire. I thought about getting it, but... it's kinda meh, IMHO.

So, nope. Inquisition is much better. Plus, being on the PC, no Sony or Microsoft wanting my $$$ in order to be able to DAMP.

Some might see this as a disadvantage, but me, I don't think I'd ever trade my games in, so I'm happy with the game being tied to my Origin account forever.

Storage is in the Undercroft. If you miss it, you need better glasses :P

Yeah. I watched a bit of LA Noire, and thought "Hmm, good. And now I completely lack a reason to play the thing."

I mean, it became one of the games I watch on YT because I want to experience something about them, but I don't want that enough to actually put my money where my mouth is.

That's mostly because they spent more time with John. I like Jack's angry bitterness too. He has some of the best lines while bounty hunting too. 'Horse. Meet idiot'.

LA Noire is definitely not for everyone. I love detective games. The interrogations, clue gathering and crime scenes are really great. They unfortunately focused too much on the 'awesome' facial graphics technology (which they haven't used again AFAIK).

Too much fluff, not enough crunch, but what crunch we have is awesome.

I guess I just need to spend a little more time playing as him then.

Oh. Well, I don't know if it's in Haven anywhere. Only have played in Skyhold since patch released. It released hours ago...

Try doing just the story with John and the side stuff (strangers, gambling, bounty hunting, challenges, etc.) with Jack. It changes the perspective a fair bit. On my first run I did all I could with John and then got the surprise and was disappointed. Then I did as I said above and it changed my opinion of Jackie boy.

I love hunting with Jack. 'Let me take your coat, madam', 'Just like you showed me, Pa'. That last one. So many feels!

I think that was kind of needed though, to get the most accurate responses to what is going on, whether that be an interrogation or a shootout. I'm glad they did it because it shows that it is possible and effective but yeah, I bet it cost a fortune.

It ended up being more uncanny valley than convincing though. The faces were very shiny. :D

I don't own the game anymore. Traded it in before my conversion.  If I ever get it again though, I will try that. Sounds interesting.

One game I traded even though I enjoyed it a lot was Prototype. That damn platinum medal achievement... Arrgh! The controls were way too sensitive. I haven't played the second, but I watched a let's play. I wasn't too interested.

True. But it's a start to something that will hopefully appear in more great games. Such as with The Order: 1886. That used facial capture (they slightly manipulated it to give of the aura these characters were to portray) and they look bloody brilliant.

Loved Prototype! Fun game. The sequel... not so much. I found very little reason to hold onto it though.

I like the patch. Hasn't broken anything that I can tell and the adjustments are useful...not just the storage chest/tinter, but the option to have bigger subtitles and adjustable shader graphic setting have both made me happy.
