I'm sorry but, yes it does. Even if you use sex for a coping mechanism you are going to look for things that do it for you( things you find attractive or turn you on ). No one just decides hey, I'm sad, depressed, suicidal I'm going to use sex as a coping mechanism and sleep with a gender, or person that I don't find attractive or sexually appealing.

Furthermore, yes I would use a mod to make Jack Bi, it's not destroying the integrity of the character or her story.

 

No, no it doesn't. People use sex for a number of different things. Some people also don't care who they do it with so long as it deals with what they need it to deal with. Just because you haven't, or won't do that does not mean everyone else won't. At the end of the day, sex is a tool. A tool for pleasure. A tool for procreation. A tool for stress relief. Etcetera.

Oh, for fucks sake. This entire argument is based on a belief you are changing a person. It is a fictional none existent entity of pixels, it cannot be compared to a real person in any way shape or form. This entire argument is ****** stupid, I'm done.

I'm usually all for talking through uncomfortable stuff but the things I have seen said about those kinds of mods, from people I like very much too, are genuinely upsetting, often not even because of their views but because of the rhetoric used which is unyielding and not concerned with genuine discussion or understanding, and I'm not interested in going down that road here because it's such a chill thread. :lol: But I don't wanna stop discussion either, so I probably shouldnt' have started an ice cream derail and instead wandered off for a bit. :P

I have my own strong opinions about it tbh, but I already spoke at length in the thread dedicated to it. I don't know what else to say. It's not entirely about romance to me. I just like artists to have veto power and ultimate control. It's just a general principle. I'd say the same for music or films too.
