I don't know Percy Jackson. Isn't that that kid's book?

I like sword and sorcery (Conan/Hyboria), and I like GoT.. which kind of borders on pseudo historical fiction.

Kid book and movie. Ugh, I really want to watch GOT. How do you feel about LOTR?

I think I've only played one of those games, but remember the Final Fantasy series(♡) more, since I played Castlevania and FF along side each other.

i was promised FF15 years ago... still waiting

LotR is good. It gets categorized as "high fantasy", I think.. because it's about a big, global crisis with Sauron and all that.. but it's still very down to earth.

Sword and Sorcery is usually about smaller conflicts and personal drama. But I guess some stories do a little of both. GoT kind of dabbles in both.

Another fantasy book series I recently liked is Mistborn.

It's basically Ocean's 11, with magic. A heist story.

... I think even Patrick Weekes wrote a fantasy heist novel himself.. but haven't checked it out.

Yea, the hobbies did make the story feel personal, but it has been quite a while since I've seen the movie.
Now that I think about it, inquisition could had been made a little personal. They should at least gave us a reason to care about everything that's going on, besides just having the mark, which really made the inquisitor important. Or at least along the way figure that reason out, similar to how the hobbies actually started to care about carrying the ring.

But I like/love my inquisitors because of the background stories that I make up for myself. :P

I don't like myself enough to ever say something like that. lol

Not to sound depressing.. I just don't know how to get excited about it the same way. I can create background, but I like being surprised by other people's creativity.

Ew! Don't even get me started on what they're doing in FF15. No ladies companions, and trying to make it to modern. Slowly sucking my childhood memories away.

Lol what if I left my ID in my other Superior Overcoat? I love my dwarves, but for fun and free time, I'm learning more about the Qun, Tal-Vashoth, and Vashoth. Plus, Vashoth has hit home a little for me.

Ugh, you should love yourself.

Maybe others can be surprised about your creation, if you share it. You have to separate yourself from the fictional character, and just breath life in him on a sheet of paper or Microsoft Word. See Thedas through their eyes.

lmao.

There's no way I could love myself to this extent. As far as I'm concerned, the Inquisitor is stupid as hell. It requires me to believe in a massive amount of b.s. about my role as protagonist. I do nothing to earn the position. You have to love your own ideas on a ridiculous level just to make it work. I can't bring myself there.

Other people seem to have fun with this.. I can not.

The FF7 crew didn't look like D-bags. It was modern, but it didn't go overboard like FF13-34 or FF15.

I just want to save Aeris!!! :/
