I remember in a separate thread someone had an interesting theory, they said how they thought the last 2 are the race restricted ones because the last 2 were added on AFTER Bioware decided to add playable races and that the confirmed ones are the original LI's when the Inquisitor was going to be human only. I thought it was a bit of a stretch but you never know.

That theory was believable before we knew that IB was supposed to be gated.

I'm trying to remember if I read this theory before or after IB was confirmed

I think that this is a misunderstanding then. We may have added 2 romances with the time extension, but the two unannounced romances were not added because of it.

Hellfire, "mayhem" isn't Sera's term...
Sorry, I'm just growing steadily more annoyed with Iron Bull, and I hope that Sera's interactions with him don't eclipse hers with everyone else.

I wonder if Sera will have an unique personal bow like all the previous archers? I mean, Leliana had Marjolaine's recurve, Nathaniel had the Howe's family bow, Varric has Bianca and Sebastian had the Vael family bow.
I wonder if they will keep the tradition with her?

Anyway, eh I don't dislike the Bull, I don't dislike anyone as of now. He seems to be far more interesting/tolerable character than the last character Freddie voiced for Bioware, gah!
Never wanted to airlock a crew member as much as him. ![]()

Rip Steakface was just boring, though (and a potential date rape survivor in Citadel, but eh). Iron Bull seems actively unpleasant. I really don't like being around large, loud people, and he's also qunari KGB.

It didn't really work for Sten... I suppose this could change, but it strikes me as unlikely as of now.

According to the Qun, which Iron Bull is supporting even if heart-heartedly, women (like Sera) can't/shouldn't fight.
I hope Sera calls him out on that.
And Cassandra too...although they said that Cassandra and Iron Bull get along, so... :/

Since he's fun guy and goes along well with Sera, i doubt he has the exact same views with the rest of the qun. He seems more open and accepting.
I hope he doesn't have the same opinions with Sten when it comes to women, sometimes i really wanted to punch that guy in the face. ![]()

It also restricts sex only to procreation, and I'm pretty sure Iron Bull violates that rule with enthusiasm.

Why? Is it because of Iron Bull's faith in the Qun? I suspect the protagonist may be able to dissuade him from that (as he seems to be struggling with his past in the Ben-Hassrath), and it's possible friendships with non-Qunari like Sera may help motivate him to see that their philosophy is abhorrent (especially since it seems that the Qunari are planning an eventual invasion against the rest of Thedas).

He may not personally hold the same views, but he's still supporting the institution that does hold views that women can't fight, etc. That warrants being criticized.

In part that, in part because I just don't like boisterous bruisers, though Oghren was tolerable (perhaps because he's short enough that I didn't feel claustrophobic around him).

You can believe in something and not be discriminating... I don't think his faith in the qun will affect his opinions.
He probably believes in the qun for other reasons.

Oghren was also dealing with a lot of pain that he hid behind a facade, which may also be the case with Iron Bull. Perhaps his moments of levity with Sera are the only times that he can get a reprieve from reflecting on his past.

Oghren was a homophobic/sleazy ******, don't compare......him to IB.
IB could be like..... Varric. ![]()
And if you feel claustrophobic, make a lady Qunari and you're set.
I mean that icy look on hers can kill someone.

I don't know if Iron Bull will come across as less sleazy than Oghren, given his sexual proclivities... it's hardly a guarantee, to be sure, but it may be a warning sign.
And I've been tempted to play a Vashoth, but I have more ideas for a Dalish.

I don't think Oghren was homophobic, but given IB's description, I do think they share some commonalities.
