IB doesn't come off as the same kind of gross as Oghren. He just seems promiscuous, not disgusting.

 

As far as Sera and his interactions, the reason why people talk about it so much, ake comics about it so much, etc, is because it's pretty much the only interaction we have involving Sera right now. We have no other examples to use, so everyone is just clinging to this one tiny piece of character dialogue. It will go away when the game gets closer to release I suspect.

Yeah, Oghren was on a major bitterness bender throughout all of Orzammar. That's one of the major reasons why I chose not to bring him into the Deep Roads until the game forced me to do so (which made the Branka fight a lot more difficult than it otherwise would have been, and soured me on Oghren considerably from that point on because that fight was preposterously difficult).

 

I mean, yeah, his default state is being a perverted lecher, but I think a lot of his comments relating in any way to Branka were motivated more by a sense of bitterness and self-loathing than any malicious intent towards the people associated with Branka.

Since he's fun guy and goes along well with Sera, i doubt he has the exact same views with the rest of the qun. He seems more open and accepting.

I hope he doesn't have the same opinions with Sten when it comes to women, sometimes i really wanted to punch that guy in the face.

Never heard the homophobic remarks, but still rather hated his annoying character.

I had to feed him some "thoughtful gifts" and get his damn sword back fast to tolerate him and by the end I started to like him.

Zevran was teasing him, Oghren being the knuckle-dragger he is had a mini freakout. Was amusing.

I recall liking all the Mass Effect crew but wishing it didn't feel as though the entire galaxy wanted to give Shepard a handjob. Fenris and Anders I both wanted to slap, a feeling that only intensified when I was around them.

I think if DA II had been longer, I'd have come around with Fenris. So much companion interaction was tied up in their quests, which for Fenris was always rage, angst, and pain. Decoupled from his quests, he was far more tolerable.

For DA:I, I plan to love every and create an Iquisition of sunshine and rainbows where everyone holds hands and loves one other. The Dragon Age series has thus far thwarted my attempts to do this, but I'll never stop trying.

Fenris' romnace arc gives a really different side of his character (it's probably my favourite romance in DA2, in fact).  And you and I have very similar aims for our Inqusitions, it seems.

This! The only similarity I can really see between Oghren and Iron Bull at this point is promiscuity. I doubt he's as erm... gross/rude as Oghren.

Comes with being a Qunari ._. which is i tend to leave him in the cage on most modern playthroughs.

They seem to share an enjoyment for violence.  And drink

 

Though our other companions are hardly pacifists.
