Anyone have any theories on how Sera and Dagna became buddies. The two seem so ideologically opposed that I can't see how they'd get along. 

 

Maybe it has something to do with Dagna being so squishy cute. 

Sera stole Dagna's tools, and Cassandra tells her she needs to return them. 

• Sera returns tools and apologize.
• Dagna says just ask next time.
• Sera thinks that's crazy talk.
• Dagna tells Sera that she reminds her of herself.
• Sera tells Dagna she's all short and squishy.
• Dagna giggles.
• Sera giggles.
• They become friends.

I guess it's Cass that voices my thoughts better. She kind of wonders if she's crazy or will be remembered badly. She questions whether "fixing the world" has any truth to it.. and wonders who really can decide what's better or not.
 
I have about as much confidence in this. I think the writers are partly aware how silly it all is.. and voices it through her.

I cant decribe how incredible it feels to be on that ice. Every minute goes by faster than a moment. My lesson is over in an instant it seems.

Nice, I would probably fall on my ass if I ever attempted ice skating if my experience roller skating is any indication. lol

 

It's a totally different experience though. Different movements, skates are lighter than rollerblades, you don't get weighted down when you skate.

 

Besides, concrete vs ice is no contest. I'd fall on ice any day before I fell on concrete.

I have great balance. But, it's that whole maintaining balance while creating forward momentum thing that gets me. I'd be willing to try ice skating if it's easier than rollerblading. I'm pretty sure the people around me would get a good laugh out of someone my size attempting to ice skate. I know I'll be laughing about it.   

 

Nah, we've got a lot of tall and broader guys on my rink. I personally feel it's easier because your blades bite into the ice, giving you grip that wheels never will. But you have to be confident when you step down. You almost have to forget that you're stepping onto ice, otherwise the difference in materials will throw you off and you'll slip.

I'll make you a deal. If I ever find myself in your neck of the woods, we can go ice skating. If I can teach you how to cook something. Deal?
