Sera has nothing to do with anything in Tevinter. Dorian might, but doesn't he stay behind if romanced? I'd find Maevaris more interesting anyway.

 

 

Also, it seems probable that we'll have to side with Tevinter, because the qunari are enemies to all of Thedas. So that should be fun.

 

I threw Sera in there cause I see her as one of the least likely to stay permanently with the Inquisition regardless of a romance. It doesn't seem like a fit for her character to stay beyond the Corypheus struggle.

 

As for Dorian you're assuming the next game would be set immediately after the events of the present game. What if it's five or even ten years later? Things change.

 

I said Tevinter could be in the next game but with open world still a possibility I can see siding with the Qun an option and there is always the possibility of adding Nevarra into the mix. I'd personally like to see more options for how we can rp the next game i.e. side with Tevinter or side with the QUN or Tevinter rebels or maybe another faction altogether.

There's been some suggestion in recent comments (Weekes? Or was it Gaider?) that they were done with South Ferelden and that the series would move north so Tevinter is a possibility. I'd welcome that and then you could possibly bring back Bull, Sera, and Dorian but I'd leave Varric and the rest out of it.

That's right! I think like ME series they are ready to put a cap on what they've already done and move on to a new area. I think it's a good idea.

I disagree. A romanced (and even befriended) Sera has the ear of one of the most powerful people in Thedas. By staying around she might actually have the chance to help make a difference for the poor people. Added to that she's actually living in a stable loving environment for possibly the first time in her life. I think she has good reasons to stay.

Not convinced of that. I think she'd get bored or eventually decide the organization is too powerful and she'd move on. Not saying she would not stay on for a few years but I don't see her as a "lifer."

 

Plus it makes more sense story-wise to move on some of them.

Leliana does seem fond of her and Sera asks her for stuff too (incendiary liquids and a special kind of arrow apparently.)

Not convinced of that. I think she'd get bored or eventually decide the organization is too powerful and she'd move on. Not saying she would not stay on for a few years but I don't see her as a "lifer."

I think she's far too young to make firm judgements about her future based on her current character. I'm not saying that she'd change completely, but she could easily soften her attitudes, given access to the kind of life she's never before had.

Actually, now that Gaider has moved, I might look forward the most to what he's doing... whatever that IP is.

I doubt that. It'll be something new, I'd've thought. I don't see why he'd leave his own IP just to be constrained by someone else's again.

I was thinking about Gaider's move this morning and the Kotor suggestions and a worry struck me: What if it is Kotor? But then what if it is brought back because it will tie in with Disney's new movies and it's some Disney/EA deal? Does this mean you'd get some watered down Disney crap? I worry about too many things while getting ready for work.

the expanded universe is overall non-canon but they are still using it to make new stronger stories so gaider's our only hope for something good in these dark time

Same here. I don't get the negativity. I've certainly got my money's worth!

He's moving on to a new BioWare game and will not be involved in the next Dragon Age game. That's a new game so not ME either.
