The opening to that show was hilarious! I really missed that series when it went off (I think he had a fight with the BBC about the money for a third series/not surprising)! Great stuff! I never thought socialism and humor went together really well till that show (or until I saw my first Billy Bragg gig).

There I disagree.. some of the best movies ever were 80s. Even just kids movies like that. Princess Bride, Goonies, Back to the Future, Beetlejuice..
