"Pah! Your gods may have been real beings of power, but 'tis foolish to think that the scraps of mis-remembered nonsense that your people call a religion is any more relevant than Andrasteanism."

Oh, grow up over not having gotten the Well already.

There I disagree.. some of the best movies ever were 80s. Even just kids movies like that. Princess Bride, Goonies, Back to the Future, Beetlejuice..

True, awesome movies, but don't you agree they've got a bit of a quirk to them that makes you think "80's movie" as soon as you see it?

The movie isn't that great for sure. But, all of the engineering that went into creating Johnny 5  is pretty freaking amazing.

Yeah, I know what you mean.. even the serious movies had this quality.

But I love it..I'm a child of the 80s.. i guess its natural for me to like it.

She can drink the well for all I care.

I want less ancient magic that makes me a god on earth. Not more.

Ha, Morrigan now belongs to Mythal who belongs to the dread wolf. Wait a minute I think I'm getting dizzy.

Which is this one?

Why? Being a god is great, provided you can actually do things.

To each their own.

I just want pseudo-historical fiction and political intrigue.. with magical backdrops and fireballs. Not this..

I'm not sure it's not Mythal who hasn't played our dear Dread Wolf. ;)

Except of course that the Dread Wolf is nothing like the character that Dalish legends portray, which rather reinforces her point...

The importance of preserving old magic lore. Great power, but the price. Ouch.

Exactly!

Fast Times is probably my favorite highschool flick from then. But I kind of tried to imitate Judd Nelson's a-holery for awhile..

Then again, he could be full of crap, and is actually the Trickster he's said to be...

Already a big thief fan. New one didn't hook me though (still have it for a rainy day).

I'll just add that DA lived up to this too. It's only DAI that has pushed the protagonist to uber levels. edit: potentially

Anything is possible, I guess, but I get the impression that he's the victim of some serious slander...

Oh I agree, although in her case I think that she rather revelled in it.
