explain tis to me : In the end cutscene....He tell flemeth he just wake up..or something like that....So when did he give the Orb ? and why give the Orb to a blighter like corny when he can use it himself....? and when did they ever meeet ? Stupid GAme..!! They could made this much better with suspense..and sola running away and we chasing them both in the fade...ARGHHHH!

 

I have a feeling that their sense of tiem is different from ours. So when we hear "just" we think he woke up at the start of the game. But maybe it's been a hundred years since he was awake, but that's "just" to him because of his life span. 

 

We know he was too weak to use his orb. And Corypheus says that his plan has been years in the making. But Corypheus is a thousand years old, so how many years has he been planning this? 5, 20, 100? So we don't really know when Solas awoke, or when Corypheus got the orb.

Oh I think Cory had the Orb since the first time he tried to make it to the Golden City (which is quite possibly where the gods were trapped). I think that Solas knew that if he was there when they were freed, they might be quite angry with him...

Again, this is just me theorising, but I think he gave Corypheus the orb in order to free the Elven Gods again. I suspect that the Tevinter Old Gods and the Elven Gods are the same creatures. Instead he managed to screw up again, causing the gods to be corrupted and the blights to start. Just guesswork but I think it fits with the general facts that we have...

 

I agree. I think they are the same gods. Doesn't he awake after the blights though? He awakes to find humanity transcendent and his gift to Corypheus could be seen as his attempt to right a mistake he felt he made?

So you think that he gave it to him long ago and not right before the game started. I really had not thought of that, my thoughts were that he gave it to him recently which I found to be extremely poor judgment or character, knowing what Cory was like.

especially the DLC between Hawke freeing Corny and him disguising as that dude or that lady Mage...and between inquisition isnt that Long .

I think Cory probably dreamed up this plan recently. He seemed pretty ignorant when Hawke wakes him. He carries out this new plan because he lost his faith and decided to be a god himself.
