Even the movie version made me like Tom Cruise.

 

 

But then, Tom Cruise is kind of a douche already.. he's good at those roles.

chaotic neutral always struck me more as a rugged individualist and libertarian.. and a lot more questionable and ruthless. Like Conan in his early days. Or Jack in ME. They don't really care about "causes" the same way Sera does.
 
Some would say Jack is chaotic evil, but to me, that's Morinth. In D&D, they're pretty much untamable.. you couldn't even group with one.

Haha, as a CE Assassin I poisoned the well my friends were using to replenish their water supply. Killed all five of em, then I proceeded to loot their corpses. Good times mwhahahaha. ;)

Man, I wish I still had a group to play DnD with. I miss it so much. I always played a theme with Rogues, I did crazy multiclasses like Rogue/Cleric/Assassin.

No, they rolled new characters that were family of the slain party and tried hunting me down. They never caught me, I made a deal with a Succubus named Lilith and she changed my appearance.

Dude, I if I see the thread has moved more than 5 pages, I don't bother catching up. If someone tells me to go back and read some stuff, I will but otherwise, I'm not fussed if I missed something. If I were to bring up a post that happened 8 hours before I come back on, it would feel like either, I'm trying to push for to much of a good thing, or I'm just trying to keep an argument going.

 

I wouldn't worry about playing catch-up.

Hrm...lmao, hard question, because I generally can find something interesting about most characters, which is enough for me to like them.

I guess the least interesting main characters to me are:

mass effect: Liara, Thane, Joker
dragon age: Varric, Sten

I also really dislike Celene and will fully admit she's a fine character but I have Briala blinders because I love her so much. I think I'd probably still even like Celene if I didn't feel like Inquisition tried to smack Briala down to make her "equal" to Celene.

ME3 does a better job with more romance scenes and interactions in general. I still think it has the best...idk, like ambient dialogue of all the Bioware games. They did a great job of making the companions feel like real, moving people and populating the world with people having conversations....I think Inquisition tried to kind of replicate the random NPCs chatting bit, but none of it felt as memorable as the Citadel in Me3.
