I did Garrus the first time, but wanted to give him a break afterwards.

Suicide Mission, Dazzle. They aren't allowed to take breaks.  :P

God No! Unless of course I get a suit of Power Armor and Plasma Rifle. Then bring on Armageddon.

hahha, weird!

man I went on so many weird dates back in the day. the most "normal" person (besides mr veeia) that I dated off that site ended our (like three week) relationship because he didn't think emotions would matter when "the singularity came" so he didn't want to date anyone. we're still friends tho. he's still single, still waiting for that I guess.

...I tend to gravitate towards (and attract) weirdos tho I guess.

I have to say, given his record of getting everyone else killed I would never trust Zaeed to lead anything...

Pffft, British Light Calvary stopped for a tea break in Afghanistan. My best friend recorded it, he's a Navy Sea Bee and EOD.

YepI There's thousands of questions you can answer. That's one that always amuses me. Along with Which is bigger the earth or the sun and....  What does Wherefore mean in Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet: Why, Where, Who or I don't care.

I've said before they have an almost religious mindset. It's no different.

Eschatology is not science.

I dunno, it was 1 a.m. give me a break. I thought he used to lead a toon. And he survives everything like a bloody cockroach except for this?

As for ME3, I basically just wanted the same experience Liara fans got. Just my own way. People connect to that story in different ways, but they dropped the ball for some.

I think he just screwed up one too many times and his luck ran out...

Wtf, that's seriously a question?? Lmao. I probably skipped it, because I'm sure my answer would have been "Yes, because [five paragraphs about WHAT DOES EXCITING REALLY MEAN and "from a certain light, anything can be anything"] or whatever...I never did well with those questions. I'm way too pretentiously contrarian and long winded, and was even more so then.

Nuclear war would be exciting, if you survived, and it was like Mad Max afterwards.

Oh don't worry. I had to delete like 750 questions because I was bored one night and decided to explain my answer to all of them...

The singularity is certainly a concept worth considering, but I think he grossly overestimates how close it is...

It'd be more like Hoth, with a dash of Chernobyl.

Better considered by some other group though. I don't think they do the idea any good.

Also, Kurzweil himself just seems motivated by fear of death. I watched one documentary where he talked about consuming dozens of vitamins a day. He had them all lined up at his table for daily dosage. He's kind of crazy.

Some of the questions are supposed to gauge intellectual compatibility. Others gauge activity levels, taste differences, essentially just your thoughts on the world around you.

If you fill out a proper mix of them you'll usually see who's a good match for you.

OK, that would suck. Had to Google Hoth and remind myself.

According to Michio Kaku if humanity can survive the next one hundred years we will transition to a type one society. Sadly, I will be dead and miss it and that sucks.

I'm might be naive but, I like to think if we can make it that long we could solve many of the problems we face as a society today and learn from our mistakes.

Kaku's entertaining, but some of it is kind.. sensational. I don't know.

I like those categories though. I think Type 1 is "able to harness the power of one's planet". Type 2 is harnessing one's sun..

We really do seem fairly close to Type 1. We're just not very unified as a species. And in order to get to type 1, we have to not destroy ourselves. He thought most civilizations wouldn't get there.

Even Kako reaches well beyond his field of expertise at times, but yeah... Hundreds of years seems like a more viable time-frame. And yeah... In some ways its just a technological version of the idea of an afterlife...

I agree with you. But, I'm not really all that knowledgeable when it comes to stuff like Physics, Quantum Physics, Trans Humanism etc. So I really enjoy his lectures because they helped me develop a love for science and a understanding of these subjects that I never had. Thanks to him and Tyson I have developed a better understanding of it and I think generally speaking that's their goal, to help block heads like me understand just how important these discoveries are to humanity.
