I agree with you. But, I'm not really all that knowledgeable when it comes to stuff like Physics, Quantum Physics, Trans Humanism etc. So I really enjoy his lectures because they helped me develop a love for science and a understanding of these subjects that I never had. Thanks to him and Tyson I have developed a better understanding of it and I think generally speaking that's their goal, to help block heads like me understand just how important these discoveries are to humanity.
i agree there. They're both great communicators. We need it more than ever.

If you like those guys, I recommend you check out Brian Cox's BBC series. Wonders of... (there are a few.)
Hey everyone. Been talkative, I see. Kitties have been playing again, then.
I need to finish my second TR playthough And actually finish Alien Isolation...
...and Skyrim and AC3. And play the Homeworld Remastereds.
And watch more Korra. Awwww, that Korra x Asami picture!
Lots to keep me busy.
I just finished ME2.
Spoiler
I loved it so much that I even feel like my mistakes were deliberate choices, so I ever reloaded.
I lost Legion and Zaeed and all the crew, which I'm sad about, but I feel like if everyone had survived... the ending wouldn't have as much impact.
I still think something is off about Jacob and I avoid him as much as possible.
The romance is so bloody short that it's almost not even worth it. *eyeroll* Apparently DA:I spoiled me.
I also have a crazy theory that The Illusive Man is Harbinger.
All in all, I loved it.
I'm downloading ME3 now.
Not fussed about Zaeed but Legion... Dazzle, you are going to miss one of the more touching moments in ME3.
Daz.... Daz, Daz, Daz, Daz, Daz.
You should SERIOUSLY CONSIDER looking back to see if you missed any ship upgrades or failed to get someone's loyalty. Check it out, and replay the Suicide Mission if there's any chance The Big L can survive.
Then again... I can see Esri and me wouldn't get on. She's cold, man. That's Renegade for you, I guess.

I just finished Book 4 of LoK myself. The ending was beautiful I never picked up on what was developing between the two so, it blew me away( in a good way).

When Legion gains full... whatever it's called, I found that to be one of the more beautiful moments in ME3. Dazzle, you really should go back and try and keep Legion alive. You will regret it.
I just love Legion at the final run with the Reaper.. I don't know why. He's just symbolically cool for that stage.. I think I leapt to save him on the platform. Good times.

If one looks at, of all places, TV Tropes, there's a list of what people consider to be the moments that presage the "surprise".
Oh FFS. Suffering/enjoying the consequences of these games is the whole point. People dying creates a different narrative to them not dying. Constantly fretting about doing it right undermines the experience by taking you out of it, and reducing the legitimacy of an otherwise valid narrative.
She can always play it again, or she won't and it won't matter anyway.
Great minds think alike.
So do terrible minds. Only the insane are truly alone.

Only bad thing about Legion is he comes too late. I heard they had hidden dialogue for him for all the previous stages, but you can't actually play it.

It makes sense though that you get him when you do.

And now my confidence is gone. I can't help but feel you are making fun of me overtly. Sigh, back to feeling like a mental midget lol.
Well, I agree with that at least for the first run. always more fun to play instinctually and just roleplay. Save another run if you want to tweak things a little more ideally.

Well... technically ME3 spoiler so...

There isn't really the right word for it yet. Until we properly encounter something different to us yet possessing characteristics similar to those that we believe make us all but unique right now, we won't get any kind of consensus (ho ho) on what to call this ineffable quality. Until then, we have science fiction.
Words like "intelligent" simply don't cut it. Both "sentient and "sapient" aren't precise enough. Authors have created words like "sophont" as a label.
How do you define "capable of abstract thinking; remembering the past and imagining the future to predict outcomes; possession of both complex reasoning faculties and high-minded faith-based constructs; having a psychology that embraces recognisable emotional, rational and irrational states; use of abstract and intricate language to communicate concepts beyond pure biological needs that expand into the realms of abstracts such as entertainment; involvement in large-scale social interactions that can operate at several levels of remove and manifest as some form of society" in one word anyway?

Besides "human", that is.
Doesn't Shepard use that word when talking to Joker and EDI afterwards?

I would consider any machine intelligence capable of self examination( if that makes sense ) as sentient. But, that's just my opinion I'm certainly not a expert when it comes to AI.
