You know what feels awesome? Doing N7: Eclipse Smuggling Depot in ME2 on Insanity and saving all 20 crates on the first try.

I don't know whether the inability to aggro all three YMIR mechs at the same time is WAD or a bug, but either way, it made for arguably the most difficult challenge in the entire trilogy.

Okay, so.

You have to use the Cain, first of all. At the beginning of the mission, as you come around the corner, you need to start charging it up. Since all three YMIR mechs start out right next to each other before going off to destroy crates, you have a sweet spot to hit at the very beginning where you can damage all three with one Cain shot.

Of course, since it's Insanity, a Cain shot doesn't kill the YMIRs outright, it only takes them down to 50% armor. So you have to finish them off as fast as possible. Fortunately, you can aggro the mechs by shooting at them, which prevents them from shooting the crates. But you can only aggro one mech at a time. So you need to target the middle mech first, then the mech on the left, then the mech on the right - that's the order in which they start shooting at crates.

If you time and aim your Cain shot properly, and if you can output sick damage on those YMIRs afterwards, you should be able to nail 20/20. It helps if you bring Miranda and Garrus/Kasumi along - Overload does a number on the mechs' health, Warp is handy for the armor, and the Tempest and Incisor in your squadmates' hands are incredibly powerful. But if you miss the Cain shot at the beginning, you won't be able to save all of the crates, so you might as well save-scum.
