It's not lousy. I'd say they have put in a lot of work with this game. It's just episodic is all (something that is happening a lot with small games like these.)
Not true...Remember me was a full game made by the same corporation...

Yeah but this is episodic. A new way to tell a story. I kind of like it. At the end of the day, you end up paying less than what a full game costs so, happy days. ![]()

Yeah, a lot of the classic novels came out that way in magazines.
I like long games too though.. but this is a cool system to release something.. when you're not exactly done with a lot of the game.
I've ran out of likes already... it's not even 8am... ![]()

So I downloaded Life is Strange. Got all episodes at once... So I won't be complaining like Alexia ![]()
How is that even a question? Liara of course.
Even if I didn't like her way more, she has loads more content (which StreetMagic is Jealous about.)
Yeah I think I am going to tell Miranda that we need to keep it business...
Well... can you keep your eyes off of Miranda?
...problem is I may have to tell Miranda to stop walking around the Normandy in that sexy black outfit cause Shepard is having a hard time keeping his focus and sleeping. ![]()

I never did see if anyone replied to my jealous comment btw..
I meant it as a good thing, just to make sure. It means that Liara fans had quality.. I can appreciate it from a distance. It's just too bad the game didn't do that, no matter what you did. It's even gotten to the point that people declare her a canon choice.
way too behind to catch up, I miss anything good?

Actually I think you can romance Miranda and still get back with Liara afterwards, if you wish to be such a cad. I didn't.
Liara's a big softie...she'll take you back
and I am a total Cad...even have the shiny platinum membership card...

Liara is probably the most forgiving companion.. you can be pretty damn rude in ME1, and she still has feelings for you through the series.

No I will stick with my special blue gal through thick and thin. I'll just play the game again to go after Miranda.
such gentlemen we have in this thread

I didn't pursue the point because it's been gone around again and again ad nauseam and I'm not sure what there is to add. I think it's fair to wonder about the amount of content other LIs got, and ask if it was really necessary to add new characters such as Vega instead of allowing for more returning squadmates, but they made the choices they did and it's done. I wasn't there during development so I don't know why they chose the options they did.

Indubitably.

I wasn't sure if you did or not.. this thread moves so fast that I hardly keep track ![]()
Yeah, there isn't much else to be said. I just have a different take on how romances in general should work, I guess. I don't think they should feel so strongly tied to main plots. The game should feel the same, no matter your LIs (same goes for who you bring in your group for any quests, for that matter). Bioware does this well all the time. It's only ME3 that sticks out to me.

I think that the concerns non-Liara fans have are genuine and fair, but I get really annoyed when it turns into overt hatred of her and especially people who like her. (Which you to your credit have not demonstrated I must add.) It's not like we had anything to do with the game's development! For this reason I tend to steer clear of such discussions.

Well, I've somewhat detached. It was more grating at first, but I'm a lot less invested in ME now. I don't blame other fans though.
If anything, I started directing my ire towards other fans because of DA. Not ME. I didn't like how Hawke's story was ultimately handled.. or how people made DA2 out to be the scourge of the gaming world. That was my favorite DA game. But it seems Bioware reacted to the negative criticism more.

That was... discouraging. DA2 was a troubled game but it was interesting in all the ways that DA:I isn't.

Yeah, I still see it's flaws.. but I probably prefer it's flaws over this one's.
OTOH, I still like these companions more.

Pffft, Thalmor master race. You can deny it all you want but they took on the entirety of the Empire and were close to wining before the peace treaty. Damn, elf hating brutes sound like a bunch of savages from Windhelm.haha i actually dont kill civvies unless they are thalmor or thalmor sympathizers
Guest_StreetMagic_*
Not a high elf fan, but they need to make a TES game from their point of view.
edit: Actually, it seems like the lore is a bit biased against them.. I think Michael Kirkbride was big on the Nords.
