As far as Sera's looks go I think she is adorable, the elves in LOTR being used as comparison is really awful in my opinion since they were just humans with elf ears, that's why the look they had in DA 2 didn't bother me they actually looked different than just humans with pointy ears. I like sera's short hair since in real life I find women with short hair very attractive, her round face and button nose makes her cute in my eyes, I can imagine the female inquisitor rubbing her nose against sera's just cause she herself finds it cute. But Sera's best quality so far is her fun personality and her sense of humor.

Do you think she has Isabela-ish personality? For one she uses daggers first talks later. I mean she is obviously no pirate but I feel like if the Inquisitor is female she will hit on her Isabela style.

If you're talking about romancing Sera with a dwarven Inquisitor, that would of course depend on whether she's race-gated, which I hope she isn't.

I don't see her as being quite as promiscuous as Bela, and although I adore Bela as a character, I hope she isn't. I just would like to see less "rogue who is highly promiscuous" being thrown around. Otherwise, I can see some small similarities popping up, but Sera's attitude also seems to be much more selfless as a focus of hers seems to be directed at "helping the people".

I don't think her or Dorian will be, I've visited other forums on many sites and both her and him already have a huge following just because they are 100% gay romances, race gating them when they are already gender gated does seem like over kill and would kill some hype for these two characters, but I mean we just don't know Sera might not be attracted to dwarfs, she might not be into qunari. Many think just because she doesn't like nobles that she might be gated against humans but if you are going to use that argument you might as well say she could be gated against dalish elves cause she doesn't like nature. We just don't know but more than likey her and Dorian won't be gated.

She's already restricted as is. Adding a racial restriction on top of that would be too much. It's why I doubt it will happen, but I won't be holding my breath.

It's not just nobles but anyone with power.

 

Which will be all Inquisitors by virtue of being the Inquisitor.

I love the idea of Sera, Varric and the Inquisitor forcing Cassandra to play strip poker with them, only for them all to end up naked while Cassandra remains fully clothed.

Disliking nobles and hating them to the point that you would never sleep with them are two different things, look at Fenris he HATES mages to the point where he wants all of them imprisoned or dead but he can still fall in love with a mage Hawke, Having a dislike for a human Inquisitor just cause they are a noble is not a good reason, its not a good argument and its not a good story point. She doesn't like people in power, the Inquisitor has POWER, they are the boss, the leader no matter what race they come from. Not all elves are racist against humans, many elves like humans and find them attractive. If Sera was racist against humans then I could see her not even wanting to join the Inquisition if a human was running the ship, of course that would go against her profile of wanting to help the common people if she refused to join just cause the boss is a human. Are we even sure Sera will know right away that the human Inquisitor is a noble? From what I have read and seen from her profile and from videos of her, she has the personality that shows she only gets serious when she needs to be, I don't see her being the elf we are used to seeing in DA where she is against humans cause of the past, she wants to help anyone which includes humans. Not being a romance options for humans just because they are a noble is a terrible reason, as I said you might as well say she will be gated against an elf inquisitor because they are dalish and she doesn't like nature. Anyway what I am saying she doesn't sound like your ordinary city elf who holds a grudge cause of how her people are treated, for all we know she could careless about the plight of elves. Working in The Friends of Red Jenny has to mean she has had to work with humans and get close to humans maybe even of had sexual relations with the female humans in the group.
