I don't think it's willful or anything, people just don't think about situations outside of their own.  If they learned English as a first language, did not belong to a community that spoke a dialect of English that isn't the "standard", if they don't have any learning disabilities, if they prioritize standard English as a barometer of intelligence, if they have post secondary education,  etc, then surely everyone must, and failure to conform to that is IGNORANCE, not like....a myriad of other possibilites that have freaking nothing to do with you, so shush, and just talk to people like people, not like some insufferable professor.

I've got a question for you experienced Mass Effect players.

 

I am playing ME2. I've gone to visit Liara and helped her a bit. I've gotten to the point in the story just past the Collectors trap and the only companion I still have to go get is Tali.

 

Just realized I do not have Lair of The Shadow Broker. Should I go get this first before proceeding any further?

I like to be "correct" although I'm aware of the fluidity of that concept. I often edit my posts to correct mistakes or make them clearer, but I don't pick on others. As long as I understood them, that's the important thing.

Just realized I do not have Lair of The Shadow Broker. Should I go get this first before proceeding any further?

Well... There's a debate as to when is best to play it. Some prefer during the game and some prefer after the main game is over. I don't think it makes a huge difference, although I seem to remember convincing myself of the former, for some reason...

 

Edit: Actually I recall the reason now, but it's spoilery. suffice to say that it's just RPing rationalisation and not really important.

Personally, I think Lair should wait till after the Suicide Mission, and before Arrival.  But you should definitely get it forthwith.

Maybe..but if Im in a Liara save..I cant wait that Long! Lol the 1st time I played Me2....once I got to Ilum..God every Asari looked like Liara

That place seems oddly lacking in Samara, um, goodies.  Unless it's the one from The Ring you're after, which I doubt.
