Screw the news. Not even news anymore. Just sad people yelling at each other.

edit: Everything is so politicized nowadays too.

It seems like half of the talking heads are lawyers.. or ex-lawyers who got in broadcasting. They feed off of this stuff, I think.

But it sucks from my perspective.

Fox News is pretty hilarious in a sad kind of way though, especially when they get owned.

That's a prime example. My old man watches this stuff.. and he's just a miserable grump because of it. Now he politicizes everything too.

Also seems like the people there are lawyers. Even Megan Kelly is a lawyer.

I don't.

I'm so sick of it that I wish Obama was gone.

And I voted for him! Twice.

I just wish he was gone so people would shut the **** up and be happy for a change. lol.

Uh people will never do that. especially about a president. Or did you forget the Bush and Clinton years?

(Actually I have no idea how old you are, maybe you genuinely missed most of that, haha)

I'm just saying.. I don't feed off of it myself.

I just try to avoid it. I like living in the moment. Not worrying about whether the sky is falling (politically or literally) every second. That's no way to live.

Probably why I look young for my age. I just don't give a ****.

Nods then yeah. I just meant...People always screech about the president. No one who cares about politics like that will ever be happy unless they move past it, haha. It's an adrenaline rush I think, that righteous anger.

I grew up with a conservative dad during the Clinton years (born in 86) and I was forced to listen to talk radio and tv a lot back then. It was just as bad, less overtly racist (I should say less overt racism, not that it was subtle or that it didn't exist a lot), but just as obnoxious. Obama leaving won't eradicate it, it will just happen in different ways, sadly. As long as there's money to be made off performative rage, people on the TV will rage.

I think some of the most venomous political battles of the past started as satire.

Like the stuff in the press leading up to the Civil War..
