Well... Actually I work at a university, but not for a university. The IT company I work for has an office in the "science park" of the University of York. It's an international company now but the British part was originally founded by York graduates. My wife works for the uni, but she got sick of being an academic and these days she works in admin. I guess in a similar but higher up the food chain role to Dazzle.

Just to confuse matters further my degree is actually in foreign languages, although I did drop out of an engineering degree programme earlier in life, so I've some maths/science background as well as my current job. Basically I'm a jack-of-all-trades, master of none. 
The other day for fun I attempted to get a romantic-looking pic of Sera and Solvi in The Fallow Mire using tac cam, but it doesn't seem possible to make them stand close to each other, even using hold position...

Yeah, that's a pain.
If you really had the time, you might be able to recreate the lighting in XNALara, and then photoshop her model in a scene you'd want.
Which is a bigger pain in the ass, but just saying..

That would involve me learning a new piece of software, but maybe some time in the future. Never say never! Has someone made a Sera model for that software?

Several versions of most characters (their casual skyhold outfits, iconic armor, and orlesian ball).
Cool. I've often thought that I might be good at that sort of thing if I put my mind to learning the software. I've a fairly good eye for composition when it comes to photography and this is basically the digital equivalent.

Cool. I've often thought that I might be good at that sort of thing if I put my mind to learning the software. I've a fairly good eye for composition when it comes to photography and this is basically the digital equivalent.
That software is particularly easy. Check it out. It's more fun than work. Very WYSIWYG. To get better renders or build custom models, it's a little more work (you won't be using that app, but you could import those models to 3dsmax or blender).

I kind of suspect they'll revisit Solas somehow first.
Then again, maybe that's too big of a story for DLC.

I'm sure Sera will get lines in whatever story-based DLC comes out, but whether it's specifically about her is open to question. I'd certainly love the chance to talk with her more about her past, but I get the impression that the ambiguity of it is kind of the point...

it's funny how things you never expect hit you in a way that really is kind of wonderful. In my life I never experienced many things most girls did and playing as Max in a school environment gave me feels I never expected. I got a little glimmer of what it could have been like in school. Made me feel good.

Well there's the off chance she's really a secret goddess and the DLC is assembling the Avengers to track down Loki. Otherwise I guess it depends whether the DLC has much of a companion focus? She is a romance though so normally they get priority over normal companions.

Is it just me or did they sharpen the font and graphics to make everything easier to read? I mean I assume it isn't just firefox updates or my eyes improving.

That game is getting plenty of glowing reviews in this thread. I think I'll have to give it a go once we are back from Mexico...
As to DLC, I know Mark Darrah said that it's being worked on, and I doubt he'd just be talking about cosmetic DLC, especially as they seem to be including a lot of that stuff just in the patches this time, so I'm pretty sure there'll be something story related. I guess there is a chance that they'll force you into a certain party and Sera won't get any content, but that seems doubtful.

It take a little getting used to with the high school banter but I really have enjoyed it so far, it's different from what I've played before. I may have to look up the game Lexi mentioned 'Remember Me' I've never played it either.
I downloaded the Android version of République to play when I'm away. It's another episodic game with Jennifer Hale among the VAs, so I'm interested to see what it's like. Protagonist is female too. I will report back what I think of it.
It's a mobile game originally, but a PC version was just released...
