Oh that reminds me, (I think it was you, if not ignore crazy ol' me), I finally found and visited Aiden's. Got lost with my friends trying to find the bar. Great views though.
Yeah it is (or was 20 years ago) quite a way from the main entrance and you actually have to leave the main building to get in!
Contains one of my initial theories read at your own peril. (I've spoiled many a shows for my girlfriend, had to stop giving my thoughts on who done it's)
Spoiler
I just have this odd feeling that her step dad may end up trying to protect her and because I couldn't stand him or his methods I could have sabotaged his efforts. It seems to be hinted that many girls could have been targeted and maybe all the surveillance is to try and catch the baddie. I've got a sneaking suspicion on who that could be also.
Spoiler
That's what I'm thinking. He was a soldier and now a security guard. I believe his heart is in the right place. He wants to protect people. He wants to make sure people are safe, his family included. He might be a little more on the security side of it but in his eyes, it's for the greater good. It could very well be that we have sabotaged his efforts (I told Chloe about the surveillance in her house), mainly due to the idea that you are more safe not knowing. Now Chloe knows, she is going to act differently, which might be a bad thing.
I also believe he is trying to catch the bad guy and figure out what is going on with the missing girl. Like I said, he was a soldier. He has that mind set.
As for who done it... I honestly haven't got an idea on who that might be. I have a feeling Kate knows something but as far as that... not a clue.
Also, the whole thing with the hurricane... I'm getting the vibe some weird sh*t is at play. (Besides, you know, controlling time.)
Edit:
Actually, I would like to know who you think is the bad guy.
Good Morning or afternoon all, I need coffee really bad. What kind of dlc do you think we will get and do you think Sera will get more content.
I'm calling a Leliana's Song v2.0, with Sera. They might even do something to negate some of the hate. Give Sera a perfect reason for how she is.
We... we'd love her all the more. The haters... ah, who am I kidding? Haters gonna hate, regardless...
That game is getting plenty of glowing reviews in this thread. I think I'll have to give it a go once we are back from Mexico...
As to DLC, I know Mark Darrah said that it's being worked on, and I doubt he'd just be talking about cosmetic DLC, especially as they seem to be including a lot of that stuff just in the patches this time, so I'm pretty sure there'll be something story related. I guess there is a chance that they'll force you into a certain party and Sera won't get any content, but that seems doubtful.
Yep. I like the "cosmetics are patches, only cosmetic DLC you get is Deluxe Edition stuff"
IMHO, a Deluxe should have cosmetic bonuses. After all, it's the big fans who get that, and they might like that stuff. Certainly a lot better than the DA2 fiasco of "Deluxe gets an extra companion"
Not that it needs to be cosmetic. Example: I got ArmA 3 Supporter's. Guess what, I got the soundtrack (same case with DAI) a tactics brochure (pretty good read, to be honest, as it's partially made by an ex-US Marine who played the games a long time - so it includes everything actual military that is relevant in the game, without the useless stuff) and a PDF version of the in-game map (which is great if you want to hang it on a wall, but at the end of the day, punching the M key hard enough brings up the in-game equivalent, which is actually arguably superior)
Not that I think DAI should have went different with the Deluxe content. I'm perfectly happy with it.
(And yes, I actually got the upgrade later on. Couldn't have resisted the mug. It's so awesome!)

I'm not actually planning on playing the game (still not done with Nightmare in DAI, and XCOM with Long War is crazy fun...) but from what I read, I think
Spoiler
that this is a sign of a great man. He sacrificed a lot to protect people as a soldier, and when he left the military, he just became a security guard, protecting people in a different way. I think he's the greater good person. His methods and actions may not be the best, but his intentions are.
Once again, the one quote from Dead Space 3 I actually remember very well: "Good men mean well. We just don't always end up doing well."

Snip
I would love this but I definitely won't expect it, unless it was fully planned out before the game was released I have a feeling that the bad reaction by so many could effect what we get of Sera. Hope I'm wrong.
Hmm... What would a "Leliana's Song" type DLC be about, if Sera were the protagonist? She's quite young, and I doubt they'd have you controlling a child. Maybe how she got involved with the Friends of Red Jenny... Sadly I can see more scope for a "history of the character" DLC with the other companions. Probably not Cass or Varric as we already know a lot about them, or Cole as we know most of his story from the book, but the other companions are older than Sera and have more in their pasts that we could tap in to and still be playing them as an adult.
If there were to be a DLC specifically about Sera I'd expect it to be set after the end of the game and maybe deal with some conflict of interests between the Friends of Red Jenny and the Inquisition.

I reckon it would deal with either Blackwall or Iron Bull.
Blackwall, his history as Thom Rainer and his eventual meeting with the actual Blackwall. I could see it ending with him picking up Blackwalls sword.
Iron Bull, his history with the Qunari and his eventual need to go into the re-educaters (I think that's what they are called.)

If you do a prequel then there has to be some fleshing out of her background that allows people to be more sympathetic to the character in DA:I. If they do one set after the events of Inquisition then my hope would be that they show a character evolving and maturing because of her involvement and her new friendships.

Or Dorian's past. Plenty of potential there. Equally, much as Vivienne is disliked by a similar amount of people to Sera, I bet some would love a story of Orlesian court intrigue...

My point is that I think that most of the stuff in her past that might make her more sympathetic probably took place when she was a kid, so it would be tough to make a DLC of it. I guess someone from her past could turn up at the Inquisition, and it could be explored from that angle...

You could make it funny if you had Sera scampering around Denerim and every now and then the big boots of the Hero of Ferelden dash past. But yeah I might be hard to pull off and an easier route would be to have it set in the present and maybe have only some of it told by flashbacks. Maybe have Sera discover and old orphanage buddy still lives and may still be in danger then it could be set in the now but have some flashback material.
It would be fun to see Sera as a cute little elf kid.

With Dorian and Vivienne, I get the sense that they will be far more dialogue oriented with very little combat involved. That's not a bad thing but it would mean that half the fan base that prefers combat wouldn't get as much out of the DLC. Of course, that's my opinion. I can't see it working, whereas others might. I can say though that the stories would be pretty cool.

Dorian's could involve Tevinter and that could mean action. However if they went that route they might damage a Tevinter-based follow up to this game that could feature Dorian.
I cannot fathom what you'd do with Viv so I agree with you.
