BSN really needs to remove the "likes" cap as it is nonsensical (now there's a legitimate whine for you).
Anyway, Dazz, I don't think we have been. Have we? We've driven away trolls and Sera haters. But folks with a genuine desire to enter the topic and be cool? I have not seen that.

Again, we make every opportunity to make people feel welcome and let them know right off the bat that they can talk about Sera tell they are blue in the face and all of us will do the same. If people are not willing to accept that, it's on them. It's not like we openly attack any one who is new. If anything we are overly nice to the negative nancys who complain for the sake of complaining.

My Spock post was aimed at these "regulars" who I doubt are a majority. Look if people want to discuss Sera then fine bring her up. We'll talk about it. But if all you've got is criticism then maybe the fault lies with you (just being rhetorical)? And if it is too off-topic but you're still here then maybe that's your issue and not the people who are here? Just my two cents.

I like the off topic discussions. They are fun. They are interesting. They've helped me with some projects. 
This thread is a nice place for people to just chill and chat. Why should it change how it runs to cater to those who just want to post one thing?

Think about it, we all started on the BSN at one point or another.
Like me, for example, didn't know what to do when I came to the forum. I ended up following Crimson because I liked her posts.
Stumbled in here and I have enjoyed being here ever since.
Oh my, I'm honored or terrified.
Want to know how I first came to BSN, I lurked in the old Liara thread for some time in the long gone quarantined Character and Romance section. Eventually got the nerve to make a post and stuck around ever since, started to drift from the SP section of ME once I got hooked on ME3MP. Back then to get the "best ending" you needed to play MP to build up your Galactic Readiness, which annoyed me at first as I had zero interest in MP. Turned out to be a great thing as I ended up loving ME3MP and it kept me active on BSN for many many months also made great pals through it too. And that's my cool story for the day children. 
@Dani I see that new avi of yours, is that game worth buying, it looks interesting?

The game is very worth it. The art style is amazing. The story is amazing. The characters are amazing. The soundtrack is amazing. Everything is amazing.

It's only an issue when a troll or negative Nancy makes it and issue, even than the issue isn't that this thread goes off topic. It an issue with someone trolling the thread or being overly negative. Because of this its an issue with a individuals behavior, not the thread going off topic.
