Thankfully in the wake of these and other problems in the 80s, there were reviews and action was taken, meaning that stadia are much safer in the UK these days...

That... and just..
Well, I hope the smoke killed them first. Instead of screaming for life.
"If you can't put them out, put them down"...?
Yeah... horrible.

Well, reading up on the wikipedia.. it seems that many did help. Some survivors talk about good memories, not just bad. One guy had arthritis and was in crutches, and he managed to escape thanks to others.

Anyways, these 30 for 30 sports docs are interesting. More human side of the sports world.
Watching one on Jimmy Connors now.. he was an ass.

I'm sure plenty of people did help where/while they could, but once a fire reaches the level seen in that photo, there's nothing that you can realistically do...

You can't just reload if you fail to save someone like in Haven... (See what I did to bring this back to Dragon Age?)

I imagine pocket wire cutters and something you can use like a crowbar, and out the other side.
If you can't... Requiescat in Pace.
No putting that sort of fire out.

Some of the saving makes no sense though. I liked Minaeve. I saved her one of my campaigns only to find out she still gets replaced when you get to Skyhold and just wanders the grounds. Worse I seem to recall that she's not over the moon about being replaced.

Minaeve probably just wanted to move somewhere safer. Too much drama with the Inquisitor. Remember, she doesn't even like to fight... the whole thing probably scared her to death.

None of them keep exactly the same job in Skyhold, but they are all still around doing something. It's Seggrit who is most arsey about it. Minaeve is OK. I talked to them all just yesterday.

She's still alive though. That's a lot better than burning, or being eaten by templars/mages or whatever it was. People will take jumping to death over burning so losing your job probably is better than dying horribly and losing your job.

It's not hard. You just climb up the ladder by the house and drop in through the roof...

It's what he deserves for calling that little girl a knife ear.

They all wander about Skyhold if you save them.

Yeah. I really liked the Haven bunch. Threnn, Minaeve, Adan, Lysette, Harrit, Flissa...
With the tiny scope of the Inquisition at the time, and the fact these were there from the beginning, forming the hard core, of sorts, they felt like an extended family of sorts.
Then they get replaced. The experienced and fearless quartermaster Threnn by someone whose qualification are his FAMILY TIES (FOR F SAKES!). The courageous yet clever researcher Minaeve by a god'amn Tranquil (Hey, you got any... oh, nevermind, you wouldn't understand). The somewhat unhappy, but skilled alchemist Adan by an Elf (that part I approve of) that says about four lines the entire game (Adan had more character... way more). The Templar who refused to join the rest of the Order to do the right thing Lysette isn't even replaced - she just disappears. The shy but helpful tavern keeper Flissa is replaced by a Dwarf whose name I couldn't remember if I wanted, and about whom I could never care (spoke to him... twice. In my first playthrough. Not once since.)...
In the end, only Harrit doesn't get replaced. Maybe because he's just saving the family hammer.

He says something like "I told that little knife ear to bring you to me before you saw Lady Pentaghast "

He's an arse about it. Not at all grateful.
I failed to save him on the first playthrough. On the second, I was too weak to save Threnn.
I would much rather have saved the loyal Quartermaster than the racist merchant.
He is just the least sad casualty of all in Haven...

Hah, arsey. That's putting it lightly.
