City Elves are also nice.
But a Magister Elf (or a non-mage Elf from an Altus family, in case of Warriors and Rogues) makes more sense in Tevinter, I think.
Unless, you know. They pull a Warden, Champion or Inquisitor again, and you're a noone working your way up.
I would prefer the latter... because I just want to be an urban rogue.. in that big cosmopolitan area. Whether they could do that justice or not, I don't know. I'd want something more like Thief or Assassin's Creed, rather than DAO.
Not sure what's that bad about it. I would gladly take that rite to become a Seeker.

The cover up sucks.. and I would encourage her to be honest about it..Let people make the decision for themselves. I just think the ability is needed. It can be used for good. And has been, I think. I don't think the history of the Chantry is corrupt. It's just like anything else. Good and bad.
Well it's the old thing about a dirty compromise to do a good and in that sense it feeds back to my comment about how nobody in the game is purely good. It's very noirish in that sense i.e. heroes tainted by their corrupt compromises. I have urged Cass in all my games to tell the truth but to also reform the Seekers and make them better than they were.

People say that the Dalish are screwed by this game, but the humans don't come out of it well, either.
The thing with that that though is that we see a lot of humans in the games, we see different layers of humans (national, religious, business, social), and there's a lot of complexity that goes with that.
Comparatively we basically only ever see the Dalish in one light, and that's a bunch of amateur nomads sitting around a few static wagon things talking about days of bygone glory. There's cool stuff there if you're into it, but it doesn't get much camera time.
Nobody said you didn't lie to keep Sera content for the moment. She may be more respecting down the line. And if not, who knows if the Dalish Gods are really worth following after all?
Regardless Sera gets her way, so it's a submission. But that is okay, sometimes it is better to bend than to break, and ignoring that is the path of pride and disaster.

Ultimately, I think it's good even on a spiritual level. She has to ground her faith in the more typical sense. Not signs and the tangible.
