When IT returns ignore IT and if IT gets nasty hit the "report" button. In fact mash it repeatedly!

It retreats the thread or it gets the report button again. :P

Exactly. It's just loving the attention so send a mod in to cuddle with it and keep it cozy and fuzzy! :P

@JohnWayne @The Loyal Nub Most of my blues music discovery was through Clapton, when I started listening to him it led me to so many wonderful blues artists, not to mention artists like Marley.

Love him in Yardbirds, Bluesbreakers, and Cream. Not so big a fan of the solo stuff but his early career is good. I like Marley too and he led me back to a lot of early Jamaican artists especially in the Rocksteady and Ska period. I came to the blues through listening to Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, but also a lot old British bands like Stones, Yardbirds, Pretty Things etc and then I checked this stuff out. I like a lot of the Chicago stuff. It has a strut to it. It's been harder for me to get with rural or country blues stuff as the more urban stuff.

*facepalm* Of course. You mentioned that before. I don't think I could get rid of all the cat hair on me even with industrial cleaner. The stuff is increadibly sneaky.

Yeah, sneaky alright. Gets everywhere...

Chicago stuff, reminds me of Buddy Guy. Found him through Clapton also.

I discovered the blues through heavy metal and being completely blown away by Stevie Ray Vaughan the first time I heard him.

Yeah Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf. :)

I also like Slim Harpo but he was a Louisiana cat. He had that strut though and his stuff was also pretty danceable for blues music.

What content do you foresee Sera getting in DLC?

And how difficult would it be to mod the First Enchanter Staff schematic to have the appearance of the Staff of Corruption? Or possibly I'd give that appearance to the Staff of the Void...

probably more character development maybe even possibly addressing the theory of her being a goddess(personal hope due to most my theories pre launch coming to fruition)

As to modding no idea ask vee ,uncle, or john

I expect that it will be as part of a dlc featuring someone else but I hope that she gets pulled along for the ride basically. If that made any sense. I'm not even sure I understood myself.

I think we talked about dlc here just recently. I would like to see something that flesh's out her story/backstory more and gives more insight on how she turned out the way she did and maybe gives a glimpse of who she's likely to become.

Are you talking of modding (if so I can't help) or just modifying through other schema like grips etc to get that result?

Blues Rock? Do you guys know The Temperance Movement? My brother introduced me to them last year. They are pretty spectacular, I think...

Xil, are you just asking to essentially change the name of weapon/schematis? That's possible for sure but not something that's implemented in the current toolset, so it wouldn't be possible for me to do at least until that gets updated to support that kind of editing.

I'd love a Sera-specific DLC, but I think what we'll probably get is one where she can at least contribute if you take her along. In any case I hope to hear a bit more about her backstory...

Edit: And sorry, modding is not my speciality. I can install them, but never tried to make one.

I have no clue what's going on here but I had a random thought about Sera and I figured that of all my options this would be the most appropriate place to post it. Anyway...

I've gone back and forth on liking and disliking Sera. Sometimes I find her charmingly free-spirited and appreciate her ability to impulsively live in the moment. Other times I find her to be short-sighted, irresponsible and immature.

Ultimately I think she's all of these things and this is why the character works. You've possibly heard of the "manic pixie dream girl" trope. Not going where you think I am with this- this trope actually really kind of annoys me.

The thing is, the pixie dream girl is an idealized character that tends to be almost entirely positive and without flaws. She's impulsive, yet somehow her constant attitude of leaping before she looks never backfires and gets her in a lousy situation. No, whenever this character happens to jump into things the story is typically contrived in such a way that this always turns out well. For instance, if she convinces another character to spontaneously hitchhike to a concert it's going to turn out to be a wonderful experience that would otherwise have been a missed opportunity. It's not usually going to leave them stranded somewhere and unable to get home.

The same goes for the pixie dream girl's personality. She has a childlike innocence and zeal for life yet always seems to know exactly when to act like an adult, put other people first, and spout some life-affirming wisdom. People don't work this way. There's a fine line between being childlike and being childish and someone who spends a lot of time in one category will likely step into the other as well.

Sera works because she isn't idealized. It can be a treat to run around pranking other members of the inquisition or listen to her puerile jokes but at other times I want her to act like an adult and display a little more common sense. She's both endearing and frustrating but this combination feels authentic to me and is what makes her a well-developed character overall. They could have very easily strayed into the ideal pixie dream girl trope with her and I'm glad they didn't.

Because we don't have a proper modding kit from Bioware doing things like overhauling a items model or even editing it are still a bit of a ways off. At this point modding is still very basic. When you don't have a proper set of modding tools, its a case of digging through the games source flies and a lot of reverse engendering. I'd like to see the community developed modding tools get to the point where they are comparable to a developer created set. But that might or might not happen due to how complex DA:I is. Sadly, I doubt we will see Bioware release modding tools.
