The Anderfels is the toughest area of he land and it's people are known for being tough and hard so lmao idk about puppies. I would love to go there though.
Did all y'all miss that conversation with Alistair?

I'm joking. You can have a conversation with Alistair about his upbringing and he teases you that he was raised by dogs. Giant slobering dogs from the Anderfels.
Oooh.
Well, there's a reason I like Alistair. He's one of my DA bros.

All signs point to Tevinter/Par Vollen, even dev remarks. I would love Antiva or Rivain though.
Re: the theory. I think it's reaching a lot. Most of their points can be explained by things already existing in the game....but it's a fun meta experiment, and if it does pop up, at least there is that stuff to point to it not being a huge retcon or whatever.
I think your right but I don't have much interest in the Tevinter/Par Vollen story personally. I would love Antiva or Rivain also.

Imagine a country FULL of people like Zevran and Josie.
We'd be in for a little something, alright.

I want to go to the Anderfels and hang out with the giant slobbery puppies who raised Alistair.
I didn't recall this line so thank you for a very, very strange mental image. My brain spliced it with what I thought I knew of Alistair and I was picturing giant, slobbering armored Templars. I think that may be enough internet for the day.

usually involves the idea that people can't be part of a movement if they don't fit some prejudicial standard....like...how Rosa Parks was the face of Civil Rights movement but you never heard about Claudette Colvin. Why? Because she was an unwed mother. That didn't fit the image the NAACP had in mind for the face of the movement. Which is shullbit because if anybody deserved a seat anywhere they pleased on that bus, it's a pregnant woman. That's respectability politics.whats respectability politics im probably familiar with the actions but not concept
*edit* also to bring it current, there is a misconception about the way people dress too. folks love to call out fellas that sag their pants...and sometimes that ish grates on my nerves too lol but it shouldn't be equated with safety or lack thereof. MLK stayed in a suit almost every time you saw him...they murdered him too.

sometimes things get convoluted so its good to shuffle it up a bit. So far i like it since it saved other subsidaries charactersWhat is this 'new 52' you speak of? The DC universe is continuing just fine. Yup. No reboot ever happened.
(...Okay, more of a Marvel fan actually but this kind of stuff is why. Hard for me to get invested in a universe when editorial has the basic philosophy that you should reboot continuity every so often. I'm sick of hearing about the early years of Batman and Superman's careers. Yes, it's an interesting idea but it's also been done to death. Just let your characters finally grow into other roles.)

Whoops! Sorry. This has nothing to do with the topic, but have an adorable puppy for your troubles.

Tevinter sounds cool in theory but I worry about how it will be implemented because I'm a worrier.

What's the difference, really, between Antiva and Orlais, aside from the details of the fake accents and the openness of assassination/slavery? Antiva is too much like the south culturally for it to be really new/interesting.

As for pants sagging its more a manners issue for rather than anything else

darker complextion people, looser yet pragmatic standards, * goes to say little random tidbits* as for how its the south... its most just religiously who know from a "culture standpoint is definatly based off spain to some extent i believeWhat's the difference, really, between Antiva and Orlais, aside from the details of the fake accents and the openness of assassination/slavery? it is warmer im told and 90°+ is my prefered temperatureI don't think Antiva is anything like Orlais, at least from what I can tell. Its a merchant/pirate run state without any military might besides its Armada. It's at least a lot more different from Orlais than say, Fereldan and the Free Marches are. I mean yes Par Vollen would be a bigger change, but bigger change doesn't nec mean better. I think it would be a big atmosphere change at the very least.

But it's been three games of southern culture and religion, and I'm sort of dying to finally see Tevinter. Especially if Minrathous is implemented less pathetically than Val Royeaux was.

I want to see Tevinter implemented and I would not mind Par Vollen but they have the resources now to include a few other nations like Nevarra and I'd like to see that. I also want elves and dwarves to be present too as I like elves and dwarves. ![]()

I think Antiva is a lot rougher; they don't seem to care about appearances as much as Orlais. Sure, they have their fashions as Josie showed us, but I don't think they're quite as concerned with trends and outfits based on lineage.
I sort of think what you're saying is implying that Paris and Quebec are similar just because they both speak french.

Oh... Now THAT would be interesting as part of a DLC... More of Val Royeaux to explore... Also Sera would have contacts there so she could play a prominent role. Perhaps there could be a Red Jenny solution to a problem from her and one involving the nobility from Vivienne...But it's been three games of southern culture and religion, and I'm sort of dying to finally see Tevinter. Especially if Minrathous is implemented less pathetically than Val Royeaux was.

I'd search Nevarra from one end to the other to find the elusive lesbian Cass clone.
