ah my mistake
there's the non-canon Darkspawn chronicles with Herren becoming a desire demon being pretty clear
I don't really see that as clear at all.

Happy Page 343 Sera Thread!

Here's Sera doing her thing* in the new trailer.
*getting tossed around by a demon
/points
Sera! Why are you getting tossed around? This totally shouldn't be your thing.
Also, that alternate outfit. I'm curious as to what it looks like not mid-throw. (must find out for possible extended cosplay purposes) And heeeyyy, looks like she's dual wielding daggers. Guess they will be incorporating the dagger in the back like in her rough concept art.
This. Although I don't think Mike called it screwing up. It's an extreme edge-case of decisions and effects. Not every decision involved was necessarily "bad."
Wheaton's a fan of the setting, so I expect he'd aim for better than a lot of the uninformed click-bait articles we've seen.
My apologies, I didn't mean to imply that. I used "screwing up" more because some players (including me) might see the loss of a companion as a "screw up" on their part in case it was not the result they intended to get (them being new to the game and all). But yeah, I shouldn't have used that expression, again, my apologies.

Yeah, I like that outfit.

another shot with some demon butt
It looks a bit 'heavier' than the default outfit.

plus there's a scarf-thing.
Scaaaaaarfs.
Yeah, I like that outfit.

Those things are straight out of Silent Hill *shudder*
And that second picture is Sera reacting to the 'demon butt' ![]()
I don't know. Given that Iron Bull is only seen getting blasted back and Blackwall is shown getting his ass kicked, the fact that Sera at least gets a shot in on her opponent in the trailer should be taken as a positive.
Yeah, I like that outfit.
Spoiler
Wooowww, she upgrades the leather chest armor for metal armor. Woooaaahhh, that's so cool! Cool cool! Something to certainly think about. (Though Sera, I think your one arm won't be very happy if it's cut...)
Ahhh, I'm so excited to see the different optional outfits companions have.
I think only Isabela was easy to miss. Others, not so much. Albeit I find it strange that the character which was so prominent in a big marketing campaign of DA2 could be hard to find.Wat? I'll own that we've had some followers who were too easy to miss, but that's because implementation could have been better. Do some people think these tens-of-thousands-of-words/VO/cine/art/anim/tech-invested characters were somehow deliberately obscured because 20 hours later in optional content they might make someone uncomfortable? In a game where you can kill a demon possessed child? Mind--->Boggled.
In any case, we don't want a repeat of characters being missed for pretty much arbitrary reasons. Active decisions? Hey, your character, your team. But we've taken pains in DAI to try and make sure you won't be left wondering why you never met someone.
Considering she never married or had a heir yet but did consider marrying Gaspard I'll say Celene is bisexual. Then again this is Orlais we're talking about.
Marrying someone for the sake of heir/political reasons doesn't mean she's bisexual. Celene is lesbian.
Edit: poor Sera.

Fenris was imo the easiest to miss out of all.
Though Isabela could be tricky as well.
Fenris wasn't featured in a DA2 stellar advertising campaign of "Awesome" button and "Think like general, fight like a spartan".Fenris was imo the easiest to miss out of all.

Weekes did specifically call Celene gay on Twitter. I haven't read the books, but does that mean that she suddenly "found the right man"?
I hope that's not the case. It looks like some sort of obsession with this theme in the media lately. "Lesbian having sex with a man" trope occured in 6 TV shows just since the end of last year (it appears there will be 7th time soon in yet another BBC show), in mainstream Hollywood movie Riddick converted a lesbian, and there's going to be movie based on Philip Roth's book, starring Al Pacino, about a man turning (much younger) lesbian and making her his wifey.
Celene is a lesbian but she's still expected to marry for political reasons and to produce an heir. That's simply part of the baggage of being empress.

I doubt it. She's the empress: she can't marry for love so she marries for politics. A person can be gay, marry with the opposite sex and have kids and still be gay. Marriage, love and sexuality are three different things that do not necessarily combine. Heck, how many stories have there been of people divorcing their spouses because they realised they were gay? (themselves, not the spouse)

No

Exactly. Even if she did marry a man and do the deed (in order to produce an heir), that doesn't mean she's is bisexual, if she's only doing it for political reasons. (Artificial insemination would be quite difficult in a low tech world - the easiest way is just to do the deed until pregnancy is achieved, I guess.)
Basically: sexuality is not defined by who you have sex with. It's defined by who you want to have sex with.

Better yet, it's defined by the person in question.
If it's a fictional character though, Word of God is often relied upon.

Is frustrating how the media treats lesbian/bisexual women, is no wonder so many people consider it just a "phase" of life & that they'll get over it after finding the right guy ![]()
Poor Sera lol. Bioware seems to love tossing her about like a rag doll in their latest videos.
Now I understand why she dislikes Iron Bull's idea of having him toss her into the fray. Poor girl gets tossed about enough as it is..

Lmao, glad i'm not the only one who noticed that XD
Be nice to poor Sera.
