Go for Jury Rigging too. IMO, it's the best perk in the game.

It definitely helps in casinos, that's for sure. I'd crank charisma up to 6/8, I seem to recall it had its uses...

 

Go for Jury Rigging too. IMO, it's the best perk in the game.

They provide new avenues of dialogue with some people. - Basically flirtatious dialogue.

It's such a small damage boost though that it is practically worthless if that is the only reason why you pick them. You want to pick other perks like Bloody Mess for the worthwhile damage boost.

Ok, l learned how to shoot, killed some critters with darn, can't remember her name, made a healing thing and now I'm supposed to talk to someone at the saloon. Do I just follow what people tell me or is there a way of looking at quests, I'm a little confused with how I keep track of quests. Like when she told me to get the two items for the healing thing I forgot what I needed to get but stumbled on to them.

press "B"(if on 360 O if on ps3) and use the triggers to see inventory and quest log. And then set x quest to marked

but it adds to it best but i dislike bloody mess... its a hassle to clean up

It's in the 'data' section of the pip-boy. You have 'local map', 'world map', 'quests', 'notes' and 'radio'. Use the trigger buttons to switch between the 'status', 'inventory', etc. sections and the left thumbstick to explore the sections.

Every two levels. Of course, there is an exploit to double your perks.
